These cars by far are built better than original. The quality of the parts make a difference

Given that a modern v6 can keep up and even beat an old v8, I'm surprised that many are still obsessed with the over-sized engine blocks. The power really can't be fully used without racing slicks and it just wastes gas. I would love to see the return of the 273 Mopar v8. A smaller, lighter weight block with modern injection would have the smooth power and trademark purr of the Mopar v8 that we fans all love, but also have adequate power and fuel economy.

For people looking to create a new show, watch the sections where the experts describe processes that can be useful to people who are actually working on the cars. Then cut out most of the childish drama. We need a show like PBSs This Old House - call it This Old Car

Perhaps someday we will have cheap, super precision metal working robots that will eliminate the necessity for bondo, but that is a long way away. Some of those guys that do scratch-less dent repair are pretty damn good, but the process has severe limitations.

Dave is the perfect teacher - teaching schools would be wise to use video of him as an example. Mark would be the perfect example of how not to teach. Mark can do a good job when he wants to. The presentation about bondo was really good.
