Having professional boxers on the under-card is not a great idea, people who want to see KSI vs Logan are just gonna wait for that fight, they're not gonna be bothered about the pros on the under-card. They should mix the under-card with pros and RUclipsrs, then people will watch the full card.

I think this as a whole is going to be a benefit to boxing, I could see it attracting some kids to the pro fights, pretending like they know whats going on haha.

If I recall this fight is supposed to happen in November. If it does i'm sure it will raise some more hype for the gypsy king and the nobody he's fighting against, AJ ruiz and the Bronze bombers bout; essentially, people will give a shit about the sport and the heavyweight division as a whole

I agree. I'm someone who's both a fan of boxing and of the age that I follow the RUclips world and all. I really hope that they keep some aspects of the previous event, like the RUclipsr commentators. It makes such a difference because only fellow RUclipsrs know the journeys KSI and LP have been through, and who they are. Having the regular Sky / DAZN commentators will make the event feel a lot more dry

it’s not the smartest idea having all the undercards as professional boxers. people are watching for the youtubers not the professional boxers. if he wants the most exposure from boxing he should mix in a couple youtubers. that’s why the boxing thing started on youtube, because of youtubers, not because of professional boxers.
edit: also since most/all of the boxers are going to be professional the ppv price is probably going to be too high for many people to even consider buying it
Hes raised the stakes and cares more about creating exposure for his legit champs and prospects e.g Haney to a new mass audience rather than put on a complete freak show card to chase short term profits, it's about growth not a short term cash injection. Also will increase the subscriber base for DAZN, it's unorthodox and not going down well with uptight purists but it's a smart move really.

He is actually using them more then the reverse cause he is getting their followers to watch boxers and putting them on the under-card forces people to watch them first before KSI and Logan. And what ever happens with that fight he already delivered for the boxers he cares about. It is pretty smart.
Tbh i think there should be a mox of youtibers and pros so then that way the exposure that is being sought after somewhat retains throughout and isnt just people switching the stream on for the KSI Logan fight.

Marketing wise, its a really good move. I agree with the traditional boxing fans who hate to see a legendary world champion as an undercard. But at the end of the day, that world champion agreed to it. And it will give him a lot more exposure. There are a lot of pros and cons to this, but overall, I think its a good move tbh.
I think it should be a mix. Like let’s be real, I would say the majority of people want to see their favorite youtubers box. So have a few fights with professionals and then have a few with youtubers to make everyone happy

@@ryse12321 of course there's a story to it. 8/9 year old fans is an exaggeration and was directly after the events of logan's controversial suicide fiasco. ksi targeted that weakness and stories and back and forth fired up afterwards. there was a lot of hype surrounding this fight and far more of a story than most boxing fights. that's just how it is.
People are interested because Logan and KSI have massive followings and a shit load of social media influence.
