Hey Nick, I'm sure I commented on one of your previous Omonia videos. I'll be in Omonia later this week, I usually stay at the Brown Acropol just off the square. It's not a bad area as you say but I agree, some of the side streets especially to the north west in my opinion can be sketchy. That said I've walked up towards Exarcheia in the past and had no problems, there's a great bar up there called Rockwood, right next to the Archaeological museum.
