@@thewaraichreport well the raptors dont have an open 2 way contract. its likely masai just offered koloko a chance to compete for a roster spot at training camp. i dont think they were gonna cut chomche or brandon carlson. so it was likely cutting dj carlton which the raptors really dont have alot of depth at so they let koloko go. koloko could defend and block shots, but they likely saw he couldnt shoot or pass well still so didnt cut dj carlson. to fit in darkos system you have to be able to ball handle and shoot the 3 and pass. koloko couldnt do any of that. boucher can shoot the 3 but cant ball handle or pass so he isnt being played. chomche likely already better than koloko in that he can ball handle, pass, play defence, block shots and shoot the 3. so they may have thought too many chefs when chomche is already better.

It is very difficult to miss over a year at his age and experience and be back ready to contribute right away

koloko will go to a team that has no back up center, because it means he gets the most playing time. kelly olynyk is also not a center.
