I love your determination and your creativity, you inspired me to encourage myself to love art and it’s different genres. I love the whimsical designs and it really pops in the background, this creation brings out the art from just a picture to reality,Now I start binge watching your videos while sick in bed, they just make me feel better😊
As for ideas, make a sign for your studio using your lovely flower designs and frames from your blog and the engraving tip, depending on what it can engrave that could be super cool!
This came out so well and I agree - the weeding is the best part. I love weeding the cuts I make with my Cricut. My only issue is that normally I don't have enough light so sometimes I've cut a bit of my design or didn't notice a piece come off the backing that shouldn't have. Haha. Only a small issue - especially compared to having to try doing that on an older cricut.
I just watched the makeover video the other day - really cool project! I love how it turned out. it makes your studio look so creative, it was one of the reasons I kept watching your videos at first, instant good impression. now I've been binging your videos while sick in bed. :) you have a great personality, really fun to watch.
Sweet!!! It’s complete!! Happy day down under! The new cricut is leagues above the old one! (I wish I had a use for it! 😂) Your design came out great and it looks splendid!! Can’t wait to (maybe?) see the coloring in video! 😜 Thanks and, one last thing, these cliff hangers are torture! Hahaha luv it! 😎 Chipper cheerios!!
Wow, thank you for making it so interesting to watch you managed such a huge project. And can't wait to tune in next clip. Have a great weekend Sarah and enjoy no more lockdown in Melbourne.
@@SarahRenaeClark Using a dryer fabric sheet eliminates static electrical (electricity?) build up on surfaces. In full disclosure, I'm not an engineer. But I'm down with coloring. I extend a 'high five' and much gratitude to your passion and all the work you put into your videos. To you and team Hubby, the man behind the curtain.
I like your room now. Thank you for sharing. I am looking forward to seeing you open the mail from Johanna Basford. What beautiful wrapping paper she used.
I'm two years late and haven't read all the comments, but if you do this again, a sharp smack (or several) on the staticky surface or spray a fine mist of plain water (or plain water with a few drops of liquid fabric softener or a piece of softener sheet in the water) over the surface will dissipate the static immediately. You want it to be the finest just barely there mist. You can also try putting corn starch into a sock, tie it shut, slap it a few times with your hands, then lightly rub it over your staticky surface if you don't want to use the fine mist. Your desk has a melamine laminate that causes static build up with anything synthetic that rubs across it, especially in dry weather (like winter air or super cold air conditioning). You can get the same thing by rubbing a latex balloon over your hair any time of year or scuffing your feet on a synthetic or woolen rug in winter. Remember zapping yourself or someone else by doing this when you were a kid? 😆 Love the wall art!

@@SarahRenaeClark they are awesome, I actually use mine more than I thought I would, especially if you want to cut larger designs using other material like felt, fabric and balsa wood etc. which all will need a mat. Some of the materials you can only use on your maker but the longer mats can be used on you both of your machines. You probably already knew all but just in case you didn't. Have fun!

Maybe too busy to go well with your other art projects that you film for the channel, idk.
you should have used a Silhouette Cameo 4, it has been able to do this forever and you don't need any special vinyl. But your wall came out so cool, it really inspires me
The Silhouette is notorious for not being user friendly. If it was so much better than the Cricut, it would be dominating shelf space in retail stores, but instead, the Cricut does. I didn’t even know the Silhouette still existed. The nicer comment would have been your last sentence by itself.
@@HomeLifeWithLove Thank you for your opinion, but it is my opinion to which I am entitled. And dominating shelf space has nothing to do with quality of product but with what the business throws out into marketing. And yes, I have used both and have owned both and still prefer my Cameo to the Cricut. You have a wonderful weekend.
I actually have the Silhouette Cameo, and I wouldn’t have attempted this with that! Having used both, I found the Cricut much easier as a beginner. I haven’t compared all the features side-by-side though- I’m curious to really test both machines side-by-side one day!
@@SarahRenaeClark that's very interesting, as I have had just the opposite reaction. I have had both and found the Cricut to be too "hand holding" and did not give me the freedom to do what I wanted. @@eagercrafter_9014 that makes sense. Easy-to-use usually comes at the sacrifice of customization. So the Cricut being easier to use and the Silhouette being more customizable does line up with my experience so far, although I haven’t used them both enough to give a full comparison.
