It wasn't a 1080 ti, but I got my used card in October. It's a similarly-performing RTX 3060 from EVGA. This turned out to be the ideal time to get one, since the prices have only risen since then. I swear I'm not psychic; I just happened to build my PC in October. Still, I think that if you're building a PC and you're considering a 1080 ti, you should probably consider the 3060 as well. It has similar performance, more VRAM, will be supported for several years longer, and it's only about $50 more on the used market.

I'm getting the EVGA FTW3 version of 1080ti and i'm so excited! Do you think pairing a 1080ti up with my Intel Core i5 9400F is good or will my cpu bottleneck? I have always been GPU bottlenecked in the past but now i have a 1060 3gb and they pair pretty well i think.
I think it should make for a decent pairing. Depending on the games you play, the 6 cores of the 9400F can become saturated.
But congratulations on getting a 1080 Ti, the performance uplift will be huge!
The best GPU made by Nvidia ever!
I agree!
I bought my STRIX 1080 Ti for $600 week 1 in 2017, i have a 4090 now, but the 1080 Ti is in my Plex server now
I got my Strix 1080ti a few months after launch and just retired it to my wife's pc. It had a long run.
I needed more power for VR so I got the Strix 4090 oc.
Just bought 1080 ti with water cooler. Waiting for Mail.😊
1080 ti is still fine even i have rtx 3060
My other computer still use the 1080ti 🤗🤗
lmaooo my laptop has a 3060 but I also only game on my 1080Ti. 😆
uf you have a 5600g pls no buy a 1080ti, change first your cpu
It wasn't a 1080 ti, but I got my used card in October. It's a similarly-performing RTX 3060 from EVGA. This turned out to be the ideal time to get one, since the prices have only risen since then. I swear I'm not psychic; I just happened to build my PC in October.
Still, I think that if you're building a PC and you're considering a 1080 ti, you should probably consider the 3060 as well. It has similar performance, more VRAM, will be supported for several years longer, and it's only about $50 more on the used market.
nope.
Platina Fortnite 5 and I have 1080ti and ryzen 7 1800x
And it lagging so much in medium Settings 😢😢😢😢 PLEASE HELP ME
Play on DX12 in Fortnite, it’s the best API when using a lower tier CPU
@@ProYamYamPC 🙏🏽 for answer. Is there Some video you know in youtube that shows How to do? In totally noob on this. 🙏🏽
@@ProYamYamPC i checked and it says directx 12 (direct x version)
my i7 8700k with dual 1080ti's with or without sli will either in general give 30 to 60 fps with 90% of all graphic settings to max for most games, ...most games will pick the 'best' choices and by no means is it a bad experience ... i'd call it as twice the quality of ps5 and xbox... even at 50% max details ... but play stupid games get stupid fps... my son has a 3060 8 gig, about the same in performance apples for apples ... the narrow modern features, rtx, 1080ti doesn't support maybe missed. truly the best card for the era. one day the card will be chip on a phone.
Oi oi pulling out the big guns 🤩
Has to be done mate👀 Maybe a 3080 video is in the works too!
1080 Ti is the best "mistake" NVIDIA ever made. My EVGA (RIP) 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid is still running great, but I'm upgrading my PC in 2024. Time to retire my 2017 gaming PC.
it is still good in 2024!
The GOAT!
still playing on 1080ti gainward ;) it worked off the price i pay 7 y ago... New world no problem .
Dont know why but i get much more out of mine in cyberpunk even if the my gpu sounds like a plane taking flight during the game and with 90c temp... i have a modest 5600x and get at higher res 30% more fps than this test. hell of a card. will be replaced this year sadly but it is probably for a while the goat of gpus
Its time boys to make our 1080 ti's Liquid Cooled ,so we can push theme to the limit and last us another year :D I mean a good OC on a 1080 ti could get an extra 15% at Max or you could just buy a new gpu :D then spending the whole Liquid cooling kid ,but then if you think about it then you can do it on any other card 0-0, once you have it.
I was going to get one for my first build with my income tax but god damn crypto came along and tripled the price of it and had to settle with a 1050 ti that was also over priced.
The crypto boom was so bad for PC gaming/building. Luckily they can be found for less than £200 these days
1080 ti = 2070 super
its making me unreasonably angry you didnt show the highest preset for like most of these games
so many games were cpu bound too im gonna cry
Still use my EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080Ti FTW3
Y'all talking about how 40 fps in 1440p is meh and I'm playing games at 720p at 20-30fps makes my brain hurt.
what gpu u got
@@prem.gohil. I don't have one
@@rancidmilk8824 oh rip

this card made history.
It certainly did mate!
of course it still viable. Just don't expect it to be a 4k Ultra GPU. It should still perform close to an rx 6600 or an rtx 2060
I did a test with it against a 2060 Super. It does lag bind that in some newer games. Nevertheless, the 1080 Ti is still amazing!
Wtf are you doing testing it with a 5600g????
I start my system with a piece of metal too. LMAO
If it works, it works😂 I only do it on my test bench as I don’t have a button for it😂
#1 is in the gpu's name so whats the discussion?
Damn right💪
Like a LC 1080 ti OC= 3060 ti stock no mods!
This card could hit 20fps in Metro Exodus with RT somehow....
Why is he benchmarking with a 5600G? makes no sense...
Got a EVGA 1080Ti FTW for 120€. Put some new paste on it and it runs so freaking well together with my Xeon E5.
I will buy and use until battlemage
Battlemage is looking to be pretty good👀
@@ProYamYamPC Indeed. So glad intel is in the gpu space now. Can't wait to see it next year
mine is Gigabyte GTX1080TI Turbo 11GB
Yes.
yes, it is
you bottlenecked the heck out of this gpu during these benchmarks.
Yeah the 5600G isn’t the strongest CPU. However, since then, my test bench has been upgraded. You can see how the 1080 Ti gets on against a 2060 Super as I made a video for that. The bottleneck is far less in that video.
Judging by this benchmark you can play 4k
You certainly can. I have a video dedicated to playing games at 4K with the 1080 Ti!
got my rog strix 1080 for $70
1080ti still heroo
Bro this thing came out fuckin 7 years ago and it pushes numbers like this?!? Hahahah what the hell happened to Nvidia?!?!
oh damn you got a 5600g. this gives like 15 frames less than a 5600x, which is not bad at all. i got a computer for sale with a 5700g lol. it is a solid cpu im not gonna lie.
The G series have half of the cache compared to the non-g CPUs. I am thinking of upgrading it sometime soon. Maybe to a 5800X3D if possible!
5800X3D will be legend like 1080 ti
@@Miroslav96 the 5800X3D will go down as a legendary CPU. Like the i5 2500K or i7 4790K🙌
i have the card in my pc now. how do i make those lights turn on ?! wtf lol
They should turn on automatically. You need Aura Sync/Armoury Crate installed to control them though
IMAGINE the aduacity and the poverty lvl of math for somone to say is a card 699 dollars for 1 pc part vs a game these cards us at 399 for a ENTIRE pc 5 years ealiier no way a grade school math crub with the name pro and yem in his name owns a house.. before his wtf math vs 2013 gaemes on a device 2-4x more in cost
The what?
