SA should do a stainless SA35. Nice tabletop review.

Two POWER houses of the 45acp world. I'm actually looking into purchasing a Tisas Radar

I have heard that the SA35s are built on Tisas Regent frames. Do you see anything that would lead you to believe or disbelieve this?
If you look at where the trigger reset happens, it's clear why the BHP design has such a weak signal to the reset. I have wondered if someone could re-engineer the trigger lever with some tension; that should help.

This would be great to research and find out. That trigger could use some help. 😎🇺🇸👍
      Take care Sir. B9USA Sr.

I think that's an internet rumor, Springfield advertises Made in the USA, and they always owned up to the fact that the XD is made in Croatia.

I owned a hi power decades ago and they really bite the hell out of my fat hands. I would love to get another one but I would never shoot it.
    Nice TISSOT BTW. 🤠

Thanks for showing them together. I have been curious about them. I unfortunately can’t shoot my HiPower without it chewing on the webbing of my hand, so it doesn’t get shot much. I much prefer my CZ75 as the grip is enough larger that I can shoot it better and without pain.

Would be nice if they would make a SA-35 in stainless. There’s also a few designs of “no bite” chamfered hammer out there in case if you want to replace that tisas hammer. (Fun upgrade) Apex Magazines also makes 17 or 19 rd magazine for Hi-Powers.
    As always Awesome video! 🎉
P.S. what’s your thoughts on the new FN 2022 High Power?

Awesome Information Sir! We all appreciate you sharing your knowledge on that. Regarding the FN 2022 High Power…. I would love to get one. We would Review it, do a Shooting Review on it and compare it to these 2 pistols.
      Sounds like fun to me.
      Respectfully, B9USA Sr.

I have a Charles Daly HP clone. While it never bit me, there was a red mark that was appearing on the web of my hand from the hammer. I got a hammer from Cylinder and Slide. It is shorter from front to back, making the hitting of your skin less likely, and the edges of the hammer are all relieved/rounded to make pinching less likely. I think as a minimum all the HiPower builders should do something about the hammer (SA did).
Also, I removed the magazine safety and the trigger went from long and gritty to short and crisp. {!-{>

That trigger reset to too long. Cylinder & Slide has an action enhancement kit. I don't know whether it helps with trigger reset.

Hammer bite during the 1930s and 40s was not so much a concern as European gentlemen Officers usually wore gloves and the sidearms were issued customarily with only 1 or 2 spare magazines if any at all. 1911 had 2 extras in the double pouch. Nothing close to modern firepower practice.
