How to interview Bo: ask a question, any question, and give him 4 minutes to respond. He'll fill the room with insight. "Hear the influences: Chaucer, Keats."
i guess Im asking randomly but does any of you know a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would love any help you can give me
@Kamari Emmanuel I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
In so many interviews he repeats the same things, but that's because he has good answers for the questions interviewers keep asking him. Interviewers should listen and watch many of their guest's previous interviews to not repeat questions, unless they want an extended, updated, or particular type of answer. That being said, I'm aware that Bo probably did all these interviews within a short period of time doing press, so different interviewers couldn't have seen his other interviews. That's why conversational podcasts are so great, like Marc Maron's and Pete Holmes'.
TO FAN like you who's watching all the bo interviews, it may seem repetitive, But each interviewer has their own audience. Different people different backgrounds. so for Bo he kinda needs to be consistent so everyone gets the same information clearly
@10:14 *bo calling his middle school girlfriend* dad: hello? bo: hi this is bo dad: yes bo: hi what your daughters name again? dad: ..... uhh claire? bo: thanks! *hangs up*
What Bo says at 13:30 is very true. The internet is only shown and talked about in movies by older people who just don't get it. We've all seen those cringey moments in movies and TV where they have teens txtng lik dis bcuz it's what old people think teens text like, they also show kids using social media in ways they don't usually use it. But how Kayla used her phone in Eighth Grade is spot on with how most of us use our phones today
This interviewer actually understands, someone her age never understands, but somehow she does. I guess it just proves what Bo's film is capable of doing.
Justin - spot on, just like Bo said. It's not worse, and it's not just seeing more of what's already there, it's heightened. All of what was there already, there is more of now.
I'm just watching this now, and I loooove al the things Bo said, they were so true, but can we also appreciate the host? She makes amazing questions and even though she's a bit older than Bo, she has a great energy and spirit
8th Grade is R rated, because 8th grade is R rated............ - that's so true.... - what the hell is the point of an R rating, then? - and I mean in general.
I'm on a bo interview marathon and this is the best one out there. However the fact that he repeats a lot of things from the other interviews is kinda off. I wish interviewers (she and the ones who interviewed him after this) watched previous interviews too.
I never said it was his quote. I was merely making an inference based upon what Bo alluded to by saying, "I was also never 13 now." The way in which in the OP commented led me to believe that they did not make that same inference. By saying he's "not 13 now", he was suggesting that he did not live with the same degree of social media presence that current teenagers do. How is that not using English appropriately? Also, you spelled English wrong.
@elizabeth Not all comments have to be positive elizabeth. You should know that by now. But I still love you very very much. Have a great day and stay safe.

@Kamari Emmanuel It worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out :D
You can tell he is tired but he still gives such a good and insightful interview.
Agreed

It's actually the opposite, each interviewer/company wants their own soundbite, even if it's for the same questions over and over.
it's a marketing campaign, bo gives them the questions and probably pays for the interview
They do tend to repeat stuff, repeat stuff, repeat stuff.
@10:14
*bo calling his middle school girlfriend*

That’s one way to interpret what he meant 💀😂
Bo: says insightful things
Also bo: I couldn’t find any solid feet under my ground
being articulate and trying to use words is hard…but grammarly can help
"How do I be confident?"

I do only if my hands are lazy
This interviewer actually understands, someone her age never understands, but somehow she does. I guess it just proves what Bo's film is capable of doing.
That's a brilliant point by Bo. Is the culture getting worse or are we just seeing more of the dark corners of it now that we have social media?
Jeff Leach Music it is amplified with social media
False dichotomy? Little of column A, little of column B.
Justin - spot on, just like Bo said. It's not worse, and it's not just seeing more of what's already there, it's heightened. All of what was there already, there is more of now.
It's called mean world syndrome
Bo was really out here telling kids to spend their money on another film and sneak into his. An Icon.
RUclips says this video is an hour an 12 minutes but it’s only 20???
"We need to start defining what paternal means" YES
!! 👀🙌🏽🙌🏽
He's so intelligent. I just want to listen to him all the time.
10:21 I’m kinda sad she didn’t laugh
Everyone’s humor is different :)/pos
am i crazy or does the thumbnail for this say it’s over an hour long, but actually it’s only 20 minutes?
It's a year later and yes this is still a thing
@@bensytaccount Yeah. I'm gonna come back in a year just to look at this
Happened to me too. Don't know why.
Wait crap you're right
@@golden_haze_ did you come back

I watched it at 14 and ikrr, also ure profile pic is rlly cute
1:13 “I couldn’t find any solid feet under my ground” lolz
I loved this!
I was just thinking about how awesome it would be for my mom to interview bo Burnham. That lady must be a super cool mom.
I'm just watching this now, and I loooove al the things Bo said, they were so true, but can we also appreciate the host? She makes amazing questions and even though she's a bit older than Bo, she has a great energy and spirit
I love his insights! I think he'd be such a cool person to sit and chat with about life. I wish Eighth Grade was screening in the UK!

really great interviewer
This interviewer is very insightful and there’s a lot to think about coming from either side
@18:23 ohh sweet sweet bo unsure of a metaphor
Exceptional interview with a great mind.
"'Cause I was never a 13-year-old girl, and I was also never 13...now."
he means in this generation/cultural phenomena where social media is so pervasive in the lives of teenagers
You're not using Enlgish right.

You're still making syntactical errors and misusing words.
ShadowSableyeXd No.
“Buy a ticket for oceans 8 and see it” I’m dead
Very interesting conversation! I loved this and I LOVED Eighth Grade!
This is the first interview made me want to see the movie
kayla said fuck like once lol
Teens didn't sneak into theatres, we streamed it on fmovies ✌
Watching these types of interview after watching the "brand" segment of inside is interesting.
I love this host!
“Realistic texture” ME
Orca Commander Do you know what self-deprecating humor means??? Also why are we using so many question marks????????
"Buy a ticket for Ocean's Eight and just sneak in." A filmmaker who's actually more concerned with sharing his art than making money.
Bo looks tired af
I bet he is :)
Of course he always looks tired
I love how this came out on my birthday
Anyone know what he was talking about with the creatures that live in 4 dimensions
joshua Vincent Slaughter House Five by Kurt Vonnegut.
I’m never going to be Bo Burnham 😢

This video looks and sounds like it was shot on a Razor phone from 2001 lol
Found the guy that doesn't remember 2001.
Alden Zenko there is no excuse for 720 and this kind of audio in 2018
Perhaps, but it was called the Razr and it didn't come out until 2004.
Alden Zenko well I'm was born in 1990 so I do remember 2001 however I am not a great historian on cellular devices. I deeply apologize lol
I suppose we can let it pass just this once :P
