Ah yes in this episode we have Apollo's wet cat sadboi attitude and his dumpy beach house, we also have my favourite Apollo moments of him with Oracle Yay finally at the nightclub to see my favourite Idol woo! ...and we get to see the way everyone treats her too which is less yay because it makes me more than a little mad but I still love the scenes. The irony to the "mean aunt" comment is that she's honestly making more of an effort to get along than they are (she's their coworker on the chorus, she literally has a club described as a safe place for idols to be themselves which is more than anyone else seems to have done for them and even Apollo got a membership card) at least Eros and Pan aren't that mean? Nooo don't miss Apollo dropping the Persephone lore like I did the first time- (or do, he's basically just talking about how everyone screwed her over with the Hades situation and now he's annoyed she won't let go of the grudge when they never even apologised to her so yeah Persephone's bitterness towards them is totally valid) Challenging a Queen is incredible let's see, 1000 times before, oooh Grace rap and the funniest version of the "I'm such a baby" face and "MC clear the floor" is a great response from Persephone (honestly since you didn't talk to Apollo this option isn't as awful because Grace hasn't been told that yeah Hades wasn't good to her yet, if you had talked to Apollo it feels much more malicious) ooh yes go summon Calliope! Yay sad Persephone backstory one and the cute little ending (she does help you regardless because she respects your control over the power but letting her win softens her a bit) 45:16 yeah and it's worse with Persephone because Calliope was pretty much her only friendly relationship so basically Persephone hasn't been given a hug in the last 2 years and it shows Yeah Persephone was investigating by herself which makes me much happier to side with her. The moment Grace mentions magic my brain immediately starts mentally preparing for the "I can grow a field of corn like nobody's business" line. Oof going for the "you're both still suspects" line without talking to Apollo earlier must've been a shock and a half given it dropped the "Persephone killed someone" thing lol that being said Apollo you ass she just defended you there was no need to throw her past in her face like that. (especially if you talked to him earlier because he tells you about Hades and Persephone lore and says that they were all too harsh on her so especially in that situation this bit also feels super malicious and pretty victim blamey) I wonder if Eros was enjoying watching the tension between Grace and Persephone in Challenging a Queen... We love Persephone's constant references to "Starting a revolution" in her route and her romance has even more of them (I will admit I checked this episode first to make sure I wouldn't be dealing with too much Apollo lol) Honestly overall I'm impressed I managed to hold back my Apollo anger this well...
