I have used this potter's pink and buff titanium trick for a while. I could not resist the new Daniel Smith offering of five granulating colors for the price of four. Serpentine, Sodalite, Piemontite, Hematite, and Mars Black. All five are amazing and worth the price. I bought it for the green to use in landscapes but have fallen in love with the hematite for gravel, concrete and other grey-brown surfaces.
Serpentine is one of my absolute faves!! Isn’t granulation so much fun!!
Interesting color mixing with some fyn new colors! Never read or saw Harry Potter. 😊
Thank you!! If you’re ever in the mood for a great book series, no matter what age you are, read them!
DS lunar earth! IOne of my favorite granulating colors.
Yay, thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try it out.
Nice swatchs ! My favorite mixers are potter's pink, buff titanium, lavender and viridian 👋
I’ve never tried lavender, I might have to pick that one up!
Thanks for doing these. I think color mixing is alchemy! (Tying in to your Harry Potter theme) I liked the books best. This was fun! Have a great day. 🌻
Yes!! Color alchemy, I love it! I love the books too. Which one is your favorite?
Potters Pink has been on my wish list for a while. I really like the results.
I'm a Harry Potter fan too! I have read the books a few times and watched the movies many times. I love the books more, but at this point, I like how the stories are handled in each medium. And yes, Goblet of Fire is my favorite. The movie scene with one character crying out "My boy!" gets me every time.
Thank you for the video!
That scene gets me every time too, so good!! Thanks for watching!
Thank you! 🤩 This is really interesting.
So glad you liked it!! Thanks for stopping by!
Does Winsor & Newton work the same?
Great video. Thank you
You would still need Potters Pink from Daniel Smith, but you could mix it into your Winsor and Newton colors. Try it and see.
Hated Harry Potter book and movie, why are you talking about it over and over? I was here to hear about watercolor, not a book review
To each their own, that’s why there’s so many books out there!
