Thanks, I needed this... I was watching Scaler's update video and they mentioned Scaler EQ... and I say.. What button was that? Then he talked about developers and I think... "let me look up Scaler EQ on YT and ring the bell, I got your video! I mean, I get it... at least what you said which is more than I knew before I got here! :-) Thanks again, I needed this!
I got the plugin, it has a much more dramatic effect if applied on sounds after a insert reverb. I like all the presets that are included. Another cool dynamic plugin for sound shaping fun!
Looked into it and yes It's a piece of work. Well worth what they are asking for it for sure. I'm gonna go ahead and get it. Thanks for bringing it up on last nights stream. I saw it before but didn't pay any attention to it.
I picked it up based on a few video demos from plugin boutique. I have scaler 2 and have gotten a lot of use out of it. I think this will be another useful tool in the arsenal.
Great video! I have been using the trial version for a few days and I'm still stuck on whether I want to purchase it or not. I really don't write in specific keys and trying to automate the changing of the scale is, at this time, is a pain in the ass. However, I did contact David Carbone and he said that the ability to automate the changing of scales is something that was always in the plan. He expects that to be available in an update in Q1 of 2024. I do have to say that the concept of this plugin is unique and really intrigues me. So I'm leaning towards getting it even before the update. Thanks again for a very fun video!
This is a very interesting development! What will happen if some chord changes are not locked to one scale? Will Scaler EQ detect it and change the scale accordingly?I have a lot of really complex chord progressions to perform extensive tests on this plugin.🤩
Everybody seems to be praising that new Chroma by Xynth, however doesn't this give the same feature and a lot more? (I mean boosting a key/chord so it resonates). It sounds the same from what I've seen on RUclips, or am I missing something? :)
I wonder if removing the non-harmonics would make the sound less interesting and lifeless. I love where technology is taking us, but we run the risk of getting mixes that are too sterile and clean. It's the dirt, the mistakes, the odd sounding elements in a mix that give it it's uniqueness and 'magic'.
Trust me.... I'm just as confused as you rn! lol
Tried it on female vocals and it's a beast. Cleans out off-scale sound like any other eq. I love it!

Yes! Reverb can have a lot of inharmonic content. This would easily clean shit up

lmao aye man ave funny af for that title ..but no lie I was thinking the same thing when I heard of scaler eq..thanks for video bro . dope as always
You're right about the price. It beats out the Nova EQ. I like the scale locking.
Basically
Can ProQ 3 do this to the same extent?

You can put it on global and the harmonics will be audible
@@AveMcree I'll try it!
It is interesting to try if you consider that it can be bought with the RTO option
Could you point me in the direction of some good west coast inspired expansion packs for the MPC software? 👍
Does it have output gain compensation?
