Honestly it looks more like he’s giving up. He can’t climb back up, he can’t swim with an injured wrist, so he just lets go thinking, “Well at least now Gail can collect that life insurance” like he said he’s more valuable to her dead. Unfortunately it turns out he has to be for real dead.

Its confusing because joe always protected tina but not in this case.
What made him actually die? I’m still confused by this storyline. He knew how to fake his own death but ended up actually dying what went wrong? This is all Gren Windyass who did this, by the way.
