Because they say that "it's hard to balance crossplay" and how else would you sell that sweet upgrade from ps4 to ps5 version (which literally is the same kinda version with higher settings). That's their way to sell the same gave like 5 times or more.
first they make the normal cars you could get before easily locked behind a casino paywall, now this upgrade to ps5 bs . at this point I think they are trying to make gta v unplayable to new players so we have to buy their new garbage gta. well wouldn't judge too soon but this is definitely a bad sell tactic
Mikochi told Aki and FBK download PS4 version, but they downloaded PS5 version, so Mikochi has to upgrade to Ps5 version but it spent over an hour. also, after this, all 35p have to up to PS5 version too, or else they can't join Mikochi's game anymore.
PS5 players would have unfair advantages over PS4 players for a variety of reasons, including exclusive items and some weird, little-known mechanics like higher framerate making your car go faster in this game. There are no servers btw, the multiplayer mode uses peer-to-peer connections. It's why the PC version is a complete dumpster fire of cheating and security vulnerabilities, and why the girls are playing the console version in the first place.
Its so stupid that you need a version update just to play with your friends, freaking cross play is even better than this without the need for a version update
collab failed but that is okay because it was fun. by the way this type of streaming issues always happen in JP and EN, I think they should do a simple test before stream start tho. I mean, they are adorable but think about they delayed an hour but still failed, it should be improved.
The thing is, for GTA specifically, you need to play an hour long tutorial to even start trying online. The delayed start was mostly due to that tutorial. I agree that they should have been more prepared, especially when one of the collab partners is Mikochi, whom has played alot of GTA online so should have known, but can't blame them for the PS5 and PS4 incompatibility issue personally.

Also not sure what you're trying to imply with Mikochi's lack of sleep. Normally these collabs are not impromptu, and are usually planned in advance? Just like how she mentioned the others to get the PS4 ver, she should have also mentioned to finish the tutorial as well if we are going to nitpick.
