Checking out Five Guys at Yonge and Dundas in Downtown Toronto with Friends (June 20th, 2024)

I was with ‪@YoshiBros‬ and ‪@mrtransitfan647‬ and we both checked out Five Guys which is on Yonge Street a bit north of Dundas square near Shake Shack. We started the collab at Yonge and Dundas square and wanted to do another food review at Five Guys. Once we got there, I ordered a cheeseburger with a sprite and I had ‪@mrtransitfan647‬ filming me eating it and the food was not that bad I gave it 8 out of 10. Yoshi and Mr.Transit Fan were not too hungry so I was basically the only one eating it. After the meal, we went back outside and ended the collab back at Yonge and Dundas square. Still love Five Guys burgers with cajun fries, had my first about 15 years ago in the Akron, Ohio area. I go about once or twice a year. Even had their burger once in Southern California on the the same week I had In N Out Burger.

I have a Jimmy John's and a Jersey Mike's in my town, a breakdown/comparison:
Subs: I like both but I like Jersey Mike's better
Choice: Jimmy John's has a better choice of cold subs, Jersey Mike's makes hot subs like a Philly Steak or chicken
Sides: Nothing better than a Jimmy Pickle, a whole pickle that you can order whole, or cut length-way in half, or quarter, I love it quartered.
Fountain drinks: Jersey Mike's has Pepsi products and its own root beer, Jimmy's carries Coke products & Dr. Pepper
Rewards programs: Jersey Mike's Shore Points reward program is generous, I have amassed 7 free regular subs at this point and I only eat there once a week.
App: Jimmy John's is more intuitive for ordering.
