The Jaguar E-Type (a.k.a. Jaguar XK-E) is a British sports car, manufactured by Jaguar Cars Ltd between 1961 and 1974. Its combination of good looks, high performance and competitive pricing established the marque as an icon of 1960s motoring. More than 70,000 E-Types were sold.
In March 2008, the Jaguar E-Type ranked first in a The Daily Telegraph online list of the world's "100 most beautiful cars" of all time.
In 2004, Sports Car International magazine placed the E-Type at number one on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s.

This is the car I dreamed of owning as a gearhead kid in the early to mid 60s. I saved up my money from cashing in empty soda bottles and bought a plastic large scale model of this car that was exquisitely detailed with many working parts. I meticulously assembled, even using black sewing thread to simulate the spark plug wiring, and painted it the proper dark BRG. I also did something similar to this car's predecessor, the D-Type Jag. I have since owned an Austin Healey Sprite, an MGB, a Porsche 944S and now have a 370Z double black sport coupe with 6-speed manual transmission. As much as I love my Z, a great car, I would trade it for one of these. Of course, I would have to buy a complete mechanic's tool set again so that I could properly maintain it.

Nice etype but it has the wrong dash it should have vinyl not alloy from a early 3.8 but anyway nice car
