I smiled when you talked about your southern drawl, but when you said you were in Charlotte, I realized we’re almost neighbors! I’m in Statesville! I enjoyed your video & subscribed! I look forward to learning more from you! Thanks!
I watch mostly you tube, so it was great to find a new artist on this channel. Your work is outstanding & Would love to see more of it here! Thank you for sharing!
Awww, thank you. I'm so glad you found me. 😅 I am working on a couple more videos at the moment. I'm struggling against time, and the crazy thing is I've just recently lost 2 videos I had made. Now I have to start over on those. 😂
Hi 👋 new subbie. Great video, thanks. Yes, I can understand your southern drawl perfectly...but then again I have one too 😂 (Georgia) Also...yes, metallic-y is absolutely a word 😆❤
Thank you for your lovely words of support, and thank you for subscribing. It's so funny to hear myself recorded. I love adding "y" to words. I wonder sometimes if it's a Southern thing. Haha. ❤
You are so clever and I can really tell that you are really into doing things that maybe others haven’t tried in order to make clay look like something much more involved and more like real jewellery. Go you ❤❤❤❤❤!
Thank you. I absolutely am always trying to find a way to mimic real jewelry, stones, she'll, etc. I also love unique looks. Thanks for watching. I hope you'll try some tutorials and be back. ❤
Fabulous video‼️ I have many many shades of this powder AND finally a tutorial on how to use on Polymer Clay!! I have subscribed to ur channel. I hope to see you more come thru my feed. Thank you again, Excellent video. I 🫶🏻 ur accent. I am from Canada and accents have always intrigued me all my life. Can not wait till ur next video🤗🙏🏻💕🇨🇦
That's awesome. Go, NC! Sometimes, I catch myself, not enunciating words properly because of that drawl, and when the captioning catches it, I just laugh at what it thinks I said 😂. Thank you for watching!
Hey neighbor! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm working on more. I lost a couple. I had them shot and into editing, and, poof they disappeared. But they're coming. 😁
Your work is lovely and your ‘drawl’ understandable and charming. Just to be clear, is it resin, chrome, resin, chrome OR Resin, chrome, resin, chrome then another resin ? Thank you 😊
Thank you for sharing this. I love it! How do you seal the top layer of mica? If I understand correctly, the order is resin, mica, resin, mica. Will that top layer bind that well?
Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, you have the order right. You can do as many layers as you like as long as you end with the mica. It will stay on pretty well. However, you will need to do at least 2 layers and then a resin if you want no wear at all. So that would be resin, mica, resin, mica, resin. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching. I'm so glad you liked it. It really does look like metal when done. I hope you try it. 🙂
Hi, I'm afraid not. Liquid Clay doesn't have the right surface required to make this work. You may have some success with a polyurethane coating, like verathane or brite tone.
I don't really use a particular brand of mirror chrome mica. However, I have used a brand called Veronni from amazon successfully. It's currently $9.99 for 6 jars.
Honey, I'm from SC and I understand every word out of your mouth. Your tutorials are the very best. I look forward to more!

Hi, thanks for your question. It's resin-chrome, resin-chrome. Thank you for those kind words. 😊
Beautiful ❤ Do you cure the first layer and then do the second layer or do you do both layers and then cure?
Hi, thanks for your question. I do one layer cure, apply mica. Do another layer cure, apply mica. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching. ❤️
@@Caricoclay Thank you. Just ordered some mirror powder to give this a try. Can’t wait.
I think you talk just fine but I’m from High Point NC lol. I think you did a great job thank you for sharing

could I do the same technique with liquid polymer clay?

Can you Provide the brand name of the powders
I don't really use a particular brand of mirror chrome mica. However, I have used a brand called Veronni from amazon successfully. It's currently $9.99 for 6 jars.
Amy, what’s the name of the resin you use.
I use Mr. Resin. amzn.to/4fykPO1
