Iverson was feral as untamed animals. His handles were the reason ample ankles got mangled like prime Tyson did formidable mandibles. He turned dexterous nemesis to corpses metamorphosis rigor mortis. Imagine if he practiced?

Out of Kobe's mouth A.I motivated him to become as great as Kobe ended up becoming. He also said in an interview that he and the rest of the NBA should be fortunate Allen Iverson was not 6'6 bcuz of how athletic he was.

A.I. is the reason the NBA has a dress code for simply going to the building. He was white tees and baggy jeans. First with braids and rows. He’s the reason high schools started making players cover their tattoos.

“Gives like Mike vibes” he was in the movie lol. AI is the best “little man” to play in the league, mvp and all was a demon out there. He didn’t play for fun, he had that dog in him. Big performance player

This is why I laugh when young people watch these videos because there is no real context on how this man changed the culture of basketball. This video did nothing to show how great he was. He didn’t just play to have fun. That’s a weird thing to say. If MJ or Kobe wasn’t having fun playing the game they wouldn’t be as great as they were. AI played his style of basketball. And if he was on any other team he would have multiple rings. It’s disrespectful to say he was playing just to have fun. That man worked his ass off on that court every day. He deserves more than ur little oh he plays to have fun comment. 🤦🏾‍♀️ This man is in the NBA HALL OF FAME. Put some respect on his name.

AI in his prime was elite level. He was just not as disciplined as someone like Kobe, but Kobe would be the first to tell you how much of a problem AI was. In terms of pure talent AI may have been above Kobe, because AI didn’t have to work as hard to be a force it was just natural for him even if he’d been at the club all night. Some people are just gifted

You can't judge this man on these crappy highlights. The man originated that crossover. The style you see in the league now; he introduced it. Think Kyrie Irving on PED's (only Iverson wasn't on PED's). The man is a legend. Thankfully I only had to go 30min to see him play.

Dope reaction but this video criminally undersells how dominant he was for the early 2000's. Everybody's GOAT LeBron even said he didn't want to be Magic or Michael Jordan when he was growing up, but said he wanted to be Allen Iverson instead.
Defenders walked on eggshells because you never knew when you were going to end up the bad end of an ankle-breaking highlight. It was pretty much him, Kobe and T-Mac vying for the title of the spookiest player for a good 4-5 year span.
This video does a way better job at showing why everybody (especially LeBron, Kobe, T-Mac, Shaq) used to know what time AI was on and loved/hated having to play him:

It is a total travesty that all you young cats don’t know anything about Allan Iverson as a player, his impact on the NBA, on hip hop culture, etc…!!! You all need to dive into the Allen Iverson rabbit hole!! Watch his 30 for 30 documentary on Allan Iverson!! Kobe in in an interview saying that we are all very, very lucky that Allen Iverson is only 511 and not
    6”6!!! Or it’s a wrap!

  • @kunarmakun793

AI's difference to irving? AI CAN POSTERIZE DUNK YOU ... his early days at least😅 but he can dunk IN-GAME .. kyrie is more on PURE HANDLES! AI is more on EXPLOSIVENESS! 2 of the best handles in the history of basketball ... AI is the GOAT of handles, and KYRIE was the kid who grew up watching AI ... unlike kobe RIP! KYRIE actually surpassed his idol ... even AI said that kyrie got better handles than him,
BUT AI vs KYRIE? AI ALL DAY!!! AI is A KILLER, HE GOT THAT MJ MENTALITY!!!
im HS, its the 2000s! kobe, shaq, AI, TMAC, VC, yao, KG, truth, dirk, THE SPURS, THE KINGS, ... the game is still much like the 90s physicality-wise! but the moves is more like the modern, today game😅

You know you are one of the badest NBA PLAYERS on the planet when they have to make rule about carrying the ball because it’s too unfair how he could freeze players and then cross them over!! He wa Kyree before Kyree!! Every player from the 90’s, 2000’s will all say he had the sickest and best handles and crossovers and crossover step back jelly!!
