Star Gladiator - Episode 1: Final Crusade is a 1996 weapon-based 3D fighting game released by Capcom for the PlayStation-based ZN-1 arcade hardware. It was Capcom's first in-house polygonal fighting game. A PlayStation port was released in October 1996.

Awesome playthrough with June! You even fought the Kappa and Ghost Bilstein. Kappa I fought once by accident, and Ghost Bilstein I have not fought (because of the super strict requirement), thus I have only ever gotten the bad ending where Bilstein's body was never found.
I still have a hunch that I might have played this briefly at an arcade when I was young (a year before MvC2 in fact, which featured Hayato). I recall briefly playing a 3D weapon based fighting game with a character select screen with a red background, with character portrait changing when selecting the alternate costume, and this is the closest I found to it so I think it's this, unless another game with that exists and it's super rare and obscure.
@Ercdouken - Thanks. Getting Kappah to pop up was a pain. 😆 Ghost Bilstein can also be a bit tricky fight no thanks to those requirements.
The game you played at the Arcade definitely seems like Star Gladiator with the points you mentioned. I cant really think of anything else at the moment but I'll tell you what, if I ever do come across a game similar then I'll let you know or you'll hopefully find it on my Channel😎👍

@ShaneDouglas713 - Yep and the conditions to fight him are somewhat insane😒. Basically you see the timer at the bottom right? Now on the last round in your 3rd fight you MUST beat the opponent with a time ending with 00. So for example. 1:23:00 check my fight with Hayato and you'll see what I mean👍
The combos were hard for me to do in this game...the only 1 I successfully did was Hayato's Kegon... (The combo that ends with Hayato flipping into the air and comes down with a full power slash)
@ShaneDouglas713 - I agree they can be annoying at times. Combo's are a bit tricky as you cant press them in a smooth combination most times. Some of them need timing which can be a little off in this game

You are very strong with June. Paradoxically, the female characters in fighting games are always the most nerve-racking to face... Star Gladiator is perhaps not to be considered as the best fighting game on PSone, but I'm very fond of it as it was the first game I bought for this legendary console.. .
@attabalippa - Cheers, I had good practice with June 👍 I like this game, true it's not the best but it's still a cool one. PS1 is also one of my favorite Consoles of all time😎
@@FightEmUp I fully share your thought. After all, this console with its Saturn counterpart was the first to break the mold of the old two-dimensional games... Not a small thing!😉
This is easily the best playthrough I have found of this game. Really showed me how much I never saw or experienced playing the game myself all those years ago.
P.S. Would you ever consider doing a playthrough as Blood?

@ShaneDouglas713 - Alright Buddy try this. If on 1 Round get to and Defeat Blistein by 5 mins or under.
If you set it on 3 rounds get to and defeat Blistein by 6 mins or under. Difficulty shouldn't matter as far as I remember👍

Eu parei para pensar soul calibur 4 é um jogo incompleto tipo com para o moto história individual do sc3 era mais completo que o modo história do sc4, isso também se reflete no sc5 tipo os quatro primeiros jogos era o mestre completos e tio mais recursos os outros não sou ruim mas não tem o mesmo recurso dos outros jogos
@drerogros3526 • SoulCalibur 4 and 5 were the worst of the series I'd say as well. They had beautiful Graphics and decent gameplay but story was not good or complete. SoulCalibur 3 and below were definitely more better in story. SC6 did improve from 4 and 5 which is a good.
