the boss battle at phoenix gate was amazing. one thing about this game is that everytime you think you saw the most epic boss fight, the next one is even better.
2 Tips: 1) Heatwave can be used to deflect enemy projectiles and using it that way shortens the cooldown. 2) There is a lock-on button. Not sure what the keybind is on PC, but it’s there.
This took me a bit to understand. I remember I asked to myself where the Ifrit's power was when I viewed the skill screen. Little did I knew; it was because Clive didn't truly accept himself as Ifrit. And by fighting himself here awarded him the power of the Ifrit. I also remember Elwin said only the Dominant were allowed into the apothecary. Which is where they go to meet their ancestors for some advice.
Baby Joshua wouldn't have had to worry about triggering the monsters in that dungeon since the Phoenix wouldn't set off all the traps like Clive and Jill did.
Sometimes I really want to gush about FF games in the comments of Caf's videos. But then I remember talking too much about recurring themes could spoil future FF games, if he decides to play more of them. XD Sometimes he'll just say something and I'm just Leonardo-Dicaprio-pointing at the screen.
Three things, two gameplay… hints? Tips? One of the two lol, while the third is just something to remember. First, the game has a stun and multiplication system for when stunned. Find your own ways to abuse this fact. You’re still early enough to where it won’t matter too much but yeah. Secondly, also related to Stun… just give the Garuda grab a go on any tough enemy or boss that JUST hit 50% stagger. Thought the tutorial against Garuda woulda made ya try it a lot more, but hey, better late than never. Lastly… just keep in mind everything that happened during the visits to Phoenix Gate, both before and now this one. The many mysteries that happened here all come back around, with the 14 team’s love for Chekov’s Gun showing in full.
I will say "'T' to Accept the Truth" doesn't have quite the same ring to it as L3 + R3 lol.
I mean I guess T is for truth, but yeah.

"Better keep it PG." while literally playing an M rated game 😂
yellow eyes = dominant/eikon is enraged and out of control.
