I still don't get how tf you can OWN someone's voice!?....To me that's just crazy town. Like your voice is inside your throat, it's clearly not property that any other person should have a right to dictate. What kind of world do we live in srsly ....
While google searching about JoJo, I came across another "victim" of Hankerson, Kyme Dang. Allegedly, in a civil filing, Hankerson blew her car up along with trying to "force" Dang to be his girlfriend. Dude is shady.
Cant imagine how someone can own somebodys voice? Thats literally slavery. And i thought amèrica abolished slavery long ago. Maybe i was wrong. They just named it differently. I understand you can have ownership of the song. Name or label. But voice? Thats literally part of her body. Like hand or leg. How can you own someones voice? In same way you can own someones body and exploit. Which is by the way slavery. And you demonise soviet russia.

She was 12 years old with no experience or connections in the industry...it's understandable why she signed. The label was blackground records, if I recall correctly
@@Eman-vp6ju thats the whole point she was only twelve years old so surely there must have been an adult signing or at least reading her documents over because she was still underage. So whoever was responsible for he supervision at that time made a mistake letting her sign such a deal
