The dude who comes in to drop off the produce delivery at the beginning of the episode is not actually an actor - his name is Chris Zucchero and he owns Mr. Beef in Chicago, which is the Italian beef shop in the River North neighborhood that the show is based on (they filmed the pilot episode in the real restaurant, and then built a set to look exactly like the restaurant). Zucchero has been lifelong friends with the show's creator, Chris Storer, since they were both in kindergarten.
