Amazing not only watching the goats but the way Sadie & Sandy watched over & directed the goats. Sandy stayed with Tilly like she could sense Tilly was a bit more weaker than the others & made sure no harm would come to her. Sadie sitting at that other trail until the goats went past it was awesome too. Christmas is a good watcher too & would defend the goats but she watches after her daddy! The walk to the river everyday has done wonders for the goats at Longhorn Lester's, it is certainly what the goats that stayed at Ima Survivor need now so they can become trim and healthy. I was really impressed with your dogs today, they naturally formed a protective barrier around the goats, checked out if there were any dangers, kept a check on any stragglers, tried to keep the herd together, then kept them on the right path back to the pasture. Sadie looked a bit forlorn for a moment, I think she wanted them all back in the pasture and I think she misses her Longhorn babies, but she's being a great protector.
Ringo really was feeling a bunch better, wasnt he? Perhaps Sandy has taken a liking to Tilly? Or like a great protector, Sandy is watching from behind the herd...you only go as fast as the slowest. Well 2 herds it is then..for now. Laverne keeps getting prettier every time I see her. Tilly did get a workout, just not overdone. Hoping Monday her blood work results will be in. Lenny is absolutely your most strikingly good looking goat. His markings are gorgeous. I remember when he and Squiggly were born.
Sandy & Sadie are very good working partners. I have an Australian Shepherd he does heard the bunnies in my yard never hurt one. Before my health went on the blink I would take him for training with sheep, cows and horses. Louie will do whatever it takes to keep the bunnies safe he went at it with a coyote who didn't see Lou in the shrubs watching his little friends play this summer it was an ugly fight you cannot get in the way trying to stop it. The police officer that got here so fast said stay in the house or that dog will lose the upper hand seeing his person out where the predator could turn and go after you. So now Louie does things to help me get through the day pick things up, let me know when the phone rings learning to turn off the light using a slide bar on the switch but most of all he gives a lot of love.
I love your videos, Lester! This video really shows how great rescue dogs are when they are part of a loving family that cares for them. Your dogs only want to please you and do their job. They don't try to leave they know how lucky they are. I will be adopting a dog from our local shelter and I encourage more people to do that they will be greatly rewarded if they do. I look forward to the next LL adventure always a great watch! ❤

Love love love seeing the herd on the hill. LHL has so much natural goodies to offer them. Tilly is my favor goat for sure. She’s so cute but definitely gotta work on getting that tum tum down a bit and her stamina.
