Suarez 13/14 is still the greatest individual performance of the decade. Quite possibly the most talented player to EVER play at Anfield. His record at Barcelona speaks for itself. What a player.

Suarez was 2 levels above every atacker we had in our history. Suarez had everything. Great pace, stamina, shot, drible, head, agrresion...everything was world class. He is in the top of world history most complete atacker.

For me his goal (#4) against Newcastle was his best for us. I have never seen a goal like that, cushioned off the chest running at full pelt with a defender right there, rounding the keeper, and walking the ball into the net. Simply stunning....

As a Barcelona fan, I can only be thankful for having him on my team. He's my favorite striker I've seen in my lifetime: a great combination of Ronaldo Nazario's talent and Samuel Etoo's fighting spirit.

That goal vs Newcastle should have been first. You don't get to see such goals nowadays. Sheer class, immense quality. Perfect control, perfect dribble around the keeper, and simple tap in, all in such a tight area and in less than 2.5 seconds. 🔥

Best individual player I’ve seen play for the club
Volleys, dribbles, free kicks, piledrivers, outside of the foot, inside of the foot, flicks, lobs, chips, toepokes, headers from 20 yards out... Suarez scored them all. And sometimes 3 or 4 in the same game. He could do what he liked. Probably the most gifted striker of the post-Real Ronaldo world.
You just ruined my night, I'm so sad. At least i can say i had the pleasure of watching this player every game he played that season. AMAZING i will never forget him.

Suárez Is the kind of player that makes the sport great. Such magic! And the drive! Even Messi said it's contagious. Everyone plays better when Suarez is in the field. A sheer love for the game. He was just born for it. And he doesn't take it for granted. He's worked his way to the top. When the time comes for his retirement he will look back and see how blessed he was. And he will be greatly missed.
I will never forget season 13/14, it was wonderful to watch Luis performance and at the same time painful to see what happened at the end, but that's what football all about

The best player on the planet 2013 to 2016. His record at Barcelona was unbelievable when you consider Messi took all the pens and free kicks. Just imagine what Suarez could have scored if he took all those set pieces 😮

14/15 Messi was so far ahead of everyone else, it was laughable.
15/16 Suarez was the best striker in the World but he was being fed by Messi & Neymar.
Suarez is a wonderful player, one of the best strikers of all time but Messi is Messi! Messi a cut above the rest.
This and Henry in 03/04 by far the best individual seasons I've ever seen in the Premier League. People can say C.Ronaldo in 07/08 but he was just a goal scoring machine mostly.
Suarez and Henry were more than just goals, they provided plenty assists as well. Henry scored 30 in the league alone and plenty of then were absolute beauties as well.
Ronaldo scored 31 in 34 games( 31 started) as a winger and 7 assist 👍. Made defenders look like fool.

Suarez, in 13-14, though, was a one man show. He almost carried a below par Liverpool team to the Title that season.
That season is perhaps the best I’ve seen from a player in the Premier League.

Anybody whose ever played football would know that the goal against Newcastle should be number 1. The ability to bring the ball down in those circumstances then take it round the goal keeper all in one movement is absolutely genius. He was way better than that one season wonder Mo. Salah. Just look at his goals. He can score every type of goals. He didn't need penalties and tap-ins bcz he can create and score goals on his own. I remember in 2013-14 season when Liverpool had no Mane, no Firmino and no Mo. Salah at that time but that gyy Suarez still scored 31 goals in 33 games without scoring from a single penalty. I wonder why Liverpool let him go????
