“Ang NHA-Balanga City Low-Rise Housing Project ay bahagi ng ating patuloy na pagsisikap upang bigyan ng maayos na tahanan ang mamamayang Pilipino,” said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during the ceremonial turnover of the National Housing Authority (NHA)-Balanga City Low-Rise Housing Project in Balanga City, Bataan on April 9, 2024.
Speaking before the 216 government housing beneficiaries who were relocated as informal settler families (ISFs) from the danger zone along the Talisay River, the President underscored the government’s commitment to bridging the housing gap while ensuring the safety of Filipino families.
The Chief Executive also mentioned the government’s plans to construct mid-rise buildings consisting of five (5)-storey condominium types to further accommodate ISF beneficiaries. According to NHA General Manager Joeben Tai, over 300,000 housing units have already been turned over across the country under the present Administration.
Sama-sama tayong tumungo sa isang maliwanag at masaganang Bagong Pilipinas,” President Marcos Jr. concluded in his message.
