Hello, i'm borne and raised in Ålesund and there was a pub near the bridge in the center connecting the two islands which was flooded regularly when the tide was extreme due to storms etc. It was located in the basement in the building but for my 28 years living there I cant remember some big flooding problems in the city centre but the areas closest to the water could be wet from time to time :)
@@H3lmetHero Oh! Great to here it, I mean, of all the towns in Norway to be built like this yours would be best, right? At least the buildings aren’t wooden like most Norwegian towns, the stone looks like it’d last longer

It's beautiful but it seems that a lot of the infrastructure might be threatened by sea level rise. 😕
