Perfect timing of tutorial fortunately! I'm working on a project which is mostly related to Rotoscoping. My question is that, what if I don't want to freeze it? Saving the project and Close the program. And reopen it again. Will my progress be lost?.
I don't want to freeze it again and again on different clips because it's taking a lot of time :)

Hey TN, great question, my advice is that you should continuously export your project by the clip. Avoid having too many long clips with rotoscoping in one project file. It can really fill up your RAM and slow down your workflow. It sucks at first but really, it saves a lot of time (use adobe Media encoder to export as well).

I believe that you can unfreeze by clicking the same button if you are on AE 2024. If not you are going to have to re-roto.

Why does it keep selecting the entire video in lines? Its having me go in and rotoscope each frame

@@aliciamcalpine7401 restart the process. You probably started with a different frame rate than the video. Also make sure play head is at beginning of the clip when you start rotoscoping.
