The first story humza said , There's a prevention for this in Islam. Sohne seh pehle 3 kul ( Sura Ikhlas, naas and falak) parhke apne hatho pr foo dein and spread it throughout ur body and the place where you sleep (like bed, pillows ). This locks ur body from jinn and shaitan. It's also a sunnah.
Writing this Bcz I know a lot of us face this.

JazakALLAH but @Irtaza Qureshi This is my personal experience. I've always been reciting Ayatul Kursi and other duas before bedtime. But still faced this just few minutes before Fajar adhaan ( this was shocking) . But after I started practising the process mentioned above, I never faced this ever again. Not even bad dreams!!!
Now I recite Ayatul Kursi 3 times, 3 kul and Kalimaye Taiyeba before sleeping. But I noticed this major change after adding 3 kul to my list.

I want to share a real story that
Once I was in a gathering with my 3-4, czns alone at 2am and we were talking bout ghosts to make eachother scare but when we slept we heard someone closing our rooms door and coming near us so I started reciting Ayat UL Qursi and the moment I said Bismillah that thing just vanished.
It’s called the power of Islam ♥️

I have many stories but one of em is of some relative of my dadi,she was telling me that the person(relative) was coming back from work ,and it was late night or something i dont remember but it was night time .Well this story is of a village ,and at that time,there werent many people living in that area.That guy was riding his bicycle when he came across my dadi's house ,(there is also a well in front of my dadi's house),he said that he say some lady taking out water from the well,he thought it was my dadi,he called out my dadi's name but the woman didnt replied,so he just went home.The next day he was coming from work late again,he day that woman again taking water out of the well,this time he called out again becuz he was getting suspicious that why would my dadi be getting water at such a time.At that moment,the woman turned around and said"kal to tu bach gaya tha,aaj kia karay ga? .he got so scared that he was sick for a few days and he also left he bicycle there,he picked it up the next day
Underrated periodt.This scared the hell out of me.😱
Its a real story.... Hm na Apne ghr ki chaat pe Raat ko kapre utarne gye mein mri sis or sth maid thi or hmre ghr ke samne kafi Purana or boht bhara baag tha toh hmne Chaat pe SB ne koi cheez dekhi Jo white si bs nazar ai or Woh chalti chalti samne deewar thi or Woh hmre dekhte dekhte gaib ho gai...... Or hmein hmre ghr ki chaat se aksr asi awaz ati thi jsy heels pehn ke koi chal Raha ho Raat ke 1-2 beje......
Or sometimes mujhe whistle ki awaz ati hai Apne kaan main jsy ksi ne boht Pas Ake seeti Mari ho or baqaida 1 2 br phoonk BHI feel Hoi hai
