This is by far the best live version of Personal Jesus I’ve ever heard, I love Martin’s guitar riffs and Dave’s wonderful voice and way of performing. Been following them for about 30-32 years and I still love them madly, maybe now even more!!! DM forever ❤❤❤

I was there as well! It wasn't that long after my Father passed away and listening to 'Violator' was one of the ways that was helping me through my grieving. As much as it was a sad time that album will always be one of my favourite s of theirs that helped me get through losing my Dad who was also like a best friend to me. Dave
For me it was the best DM show I saw, too. Travelling from Prague, not enough for black market ticket prices, to Berlin. I had lied to my parents. Freezing my balls off since early morning until 7:45pm when I saw Andy Franks, their tour manager I had seen on 101 (the guy saying Start the intro tape) and I started shouting until I caught his attention. I expalined our situation to him (there were more fans from my country). Mr. Franks only asked, "how many are you from Czechoslovakia?" Thirteen, sir. "Gimme five". And in 5 min he was back with 13 back stage passes! The Devotional gig was memorable, too. The only Prague concert (11 times the band have played here) that wasn´t sold out. DM were so UNCOOL in 1993. The wannabe-Gahans desperate coz Dave had his hair grown long. There was grunge and in clubs it was all about house which I loved and still do. Only 20k at a 35 stadium. The best concert. One could get near the stage. At the very end, just before encores,, someone hit me over my back and told me to open my fxxking mouth. I did, this person, a friend of mine, put a little piece of paper on my tongue, told me to meet the others at the train station and then disappeared. He and other friends were chased by the security. They had decided about the train trip to the nature without proper planning and then realised I was at the concert, so they got in....During Everything Counts I could see them on the roof of the stadium...security still chasing...but there were nothing like hound dogs. It was a dangerous situation though, those idiots (my friends) had a time of their life aparently. Yeah...I came home 3 days later from the gig. And yeah, the UFO is real.
After all these years..... They still master their music with perfection. Even without Fletch.... He's there in spirit, keeping them going, keeping them alive. I hope to see them more, and to keep the Depeche Mode music rolling for years to come. God bless.... We miss you Fletch.....

This song is a memory of my beautiful youth that I didn't understand at the time..but helped me be the strong woman I am today. Those were amazing times...seriously absolutely amazing.

Многие мужчины и в свои 50 - так хорошо, сексуально не выглядят - лишние килограммы и плешь на голове (а эта проблема очень популярна) - ооочень старят и портят внешность. Ну Дэйв уже от природы красив - с красивым лицом и телом, длинными, красивыми ногами. И выглядит просто отлично - волосы густые, невыпавшие, лицо по-большому счету гладкое, контур лица четкий, фигура стройная, спортивная. Только эти очки не надо и волосы покрасить.

I saw Depeche Mode at the Birmingham NEC, UK in 1990 promoting their 'Violator' album at the time - best concert I've ever been to.
Yeah man, I saw them outside Detroit, MI USA as part of the same tour (USA leg)....loved every second of it.
