A very intimate, ambient and emotional redemption I've made for David Sylvian's song "Small Metal Gods" from the "Manafon" album, using only his divine voice and some separate sounds from the original recording (plus some Frippertronics from "Gone to Earth"), while adding new keyboards and treated guitar arrangements.
The track has only been played live on my "Vessels A/V" performance (with added e-bow guitar) as a closing piece to the show, serving simultaneously as an homage to my all-time favourite living composer/singer (which is David, of course) and as an epitaph memory to one of my best friends (Tomaz) fall into depression, leading to his subsequent death - so, I have absolutely no commercial interest whatsoever on this track/version - I'd only seek the approval from David himself. If it's OK for him, it'll be a blessing for me and the closing of my short bucket list.

Thank you so much for such kind words! I do feel that art should be felt both ways, as it sort of relates to each individual on a different level/approach.
There’s far too much of me buried inside my work, particularly on this recomposing process for the entire “Manafon” album.
As far as David himself knowing about this, well… let’s just say that this mini-film was made a year ago (April 2022) for the background projection on my live performance and that some months after David started posting photographs of clouds… we know he’s very cryptic about visual narrating, so I’ll stick to the thought he’s somehow sending his “smoke signals” back to me. 🙏🏻🤍
