I have been lucky enough to see Moby live a great many times around the world, and his evolution as a musician is jaw dropping. Beethoven and Moby can sit at the same table for the genius they share.

May i just say, i listened to this whole album... Music is my LITERAL life, and this song in this particular album gave me the chills and brought tears to my eyes. My heart does not feel bad don't get me wrong but it is so beautiful. Everything in this Album was beautifully made, music like this doesnt exist anymore THANK YOU MOBY for keeping real music alive, music that makes you feel real raw emotions, I am so grateful to have been alive to listen to this all over again for the first time.

5 days later, this does sound amazing to me. If the original had never been made, and this version was suddenly released, I wonder how it would be considered? It would possibly be one of the most successful songs ever. It's hard to hear it without the more intense original happening in the background.

Obviously Moby is one of the very few people, who not only get older, but also wiser with age. As much as a person as a musician, if I listen to this song. This version is for me wisdom transformed into a musical form. Plus the unique expression of a real musician. The original song already had been something very special, this version also is, but in a different way.

It's not better. Just sadder. Artificially sadder. In the original the melancholy was coming out naturally & not forcefully. If anything, the early demo version with the slowed drum track was more fitting.
