All I want to see is to have Wunder, Jankos and Perkz happy and succesful. These guys deserve the world for what they achieved in the past. Seeing them back together after so long is the only thing motivating me to keep watching lol esports as I used to. I hope that their passion and motivation goes back up and destroy competition, along side Miky and Caps

Considering Perkz took the lowest rate of pay you could get, i believe this is a passion project and this is most likely Jankos last year.
"x deserves" means nothing, those player are famous, wealthy and succesfull in many regards. Why would they deserve more than some rookie that gave up his social life and future to play league? Your comment smells more like a prayer to see your favorite player win rather than a genuine and unbiased praise.

Hot take: I’m not sold on cabochard. Sure we’ve seen that he can be one of the best top laners in the league but in 2018-2019 vitality he was getting a ridiculous amount of jungle attention in order to enable him. On top of that, he’s been playing in the ERLs for like 3 years at this point and is used to dumpstering his lane every game because his opponents aren’t as good. Sure I think he can be good later but I don’t think he will be one of the best top laners in the league straight out of the gate like everyone says he will
100% agree. Also mention the hype is getting is bc of french fanbase but we'll see. So hyped for this year!
His opponent aren't as good in ERL? But mate, he won against Oscarinin and Szygenda in ERL, even Irrelevant if you go 2 years ago. What you're saying doesn't make any sense seeing how much toplaners come from ERL, not even talking about Myrwin, and a good amount come from the LFL itself.
He is also an experienced player and they'll all play in a brand new map with a lot of changes.
He may need to squale but saying he clapped them because they were bad is simply not true.
Literally more than half of LEC toplaners were in ERL 1-2 years ago and Cabo was better than them. The only reason Cabo wasn't in LEC is him refusing offers every split, including FNC superteam.
@@massyl25 oscarinninn and szygenda we’re 2 of the worst tops in the league at the start of 2023 and it took a while for them to get good. Like I said we know his ceiling and I think he can get back there but he’s not gonna be the best right off the bat
Yamato said himself that he was forced on Sion Duty at worlds when he was on Vit because he couldnt win on anything else (somewhere in his first 3hr podcast ep with bwipo & going over past worlds etc)
and Jun was also talking with Fans in Noahs Twitch chat, he understands a lot and he learns english really good
All of the teams are very talented, so it comes down to:
1) How well they play together as a team with macro decisions
2) Strength of Individual Player’s Champ pools in the META
3) Results of the fiesta that will be the best of 1’s in the first 3 weeks of each split
thats why i feel fnc is not a tier. they dont have a shotcaller anymore, espacially not a calm won, now razork maybe does it and it wll get a clownfiesta all the time + their coach is still a clown without knowledge on the meta

Looking forward to watching league next year, our team rosters seem very exciting. I've been a team (FNC) fan for so many years, heck, even a decade, but I'm learning to just root for a player that I like rather than a team that one could argue lost identity many years ago. So my cheers this year go to Hilly, Rekkles that joined T1 challengers, Humanoid, Razork, Miky, Jankos, and a few other good dudes from the LEC. ❤

Heretics with a good coaching staff and roster that has been proven to work well together and boy is scared to put them in the top 4 while telling me there's hope for the spanish firesale team.
also that XL team looks dogshit as well. They seem like they were able to downgrade their 2 times 10th place team. Peach was terrible most of the time and they only showed signs of life with Abbe (whom they got rid of )
I think Herethics might have problems in the first split but will pick it up afther.
He didn't value a teams ability to adapt to the new version of league at all. A team with players like Wunder, Jankos and Perkz will likely have an advantage here because of their creativity and their insane game knowledge. They also have Peter Dun who is known for his ability to adapt to these kinds of changes and get the best out of his players.
heretics is not good bruh unless the players take a huge leap. Jankos/Flakked were good but perkz has been the worst midlaner in the league this year . Also people hv been overestimating wunder, he has nvr been a carry and wont turn into a carry now, he is gonna be only good if his lanes dont fall off which jankos should prevent but again i m not confident bout perkz
@@vedantgupta2145 nah, I completely disagree. Perkz has been far from the worst midlaner, in the beginning of S13 him and Bo were the best mid jungle in the league at points. He didn't have his best year, that's true but he is still an elite player. Jankos was pretty much the best jungler in the LEC despite being elohelled with players like Evi and Ruby and Wunder has only been playing at the very beginning of the year when they had that dumbsterfire of a roster with the Rekkles/Ruckz botlane. When he helped them out in playoffs in summer he basically just walked in without any significant time to scrim and was pretty much their best player. He even won every match up against Brokenblade who was at that point the best top in EU despite BB having the counterpick in every game. It's true that Wunder hasn't been playing a carry style for some time now but to say he was never a carry is absolutely false. He was THE BEST carry toplaner EU has ever seen when he was on teams that knew how to play with a carry top and then became the strongest weakside top of the LEC when his team and the meta required it. All of these former G2 players have insane gameknowledge, proven synergy, insane mental stability and know exactly how to win a game or even an entire tournament. Now with Flakked/Targamas this is sort of a throwback to 2018 G2 but with an arguably better bot. What also shouldn't be underestimated is that all of these players have something to prove, which will give them even more motivation.

The problem isn't razork or humanoid, it's them together on the same team. The two of them have negative synergy. Both would be better if you would separate them.

I think Vitality is A tier. Mac will do some good for Vetheo. Great bot lane, and Photon will body in the new map---Mac will have just worked with Chasy for a year as well. Obviously each player is different, but Pho stayed, and Mac will be coming in with a good enough template.
Heretics is A too. Strict upgrade top, synergy upgrade mid. Team seems to want it enough.

Problem is: Mac is not the head coach, he is the team manager. He will be to vitality what Romain is for G2. They kept the same coach from last year.

mid is a downgrade for heretics tho, vetheo was so good for them but they removed him so unless perkz takes a huge jump which is unlikely honestly its a downgrade. Vitality defo has potential but i just cant imagine them being good off the start

I agree with your tier list, except Fnatic right behind G2, based on their level from worlds and upgrade supp, Vit and Rogue higher (really good individuals) and Kc D tier, cause their topside looks really weak on paper
I actually think the opposite for KC, their topside is TOO strong and you should actually find a way to neutralize the early game topside by focussing on dealing with the botlane. Bo is probably the most dangerous player in the league and engaging a fight on his own term would be the worst idea any player can make.

Also FNC cant be just behind G2.
Their supp was downgraded.
Their worlds performance was worse than G2's, and also last year they had good worlds too and humanoid played well, they got back to LEC and he is shit again( inconsistand ).
Noah was way worse in the playoffs than in regular split too.
As it stands now G2 is alone in the top position until proven otherwise.

I would bet g2 doesn’t solo the league like last year. Still agree with them being the best but I think leg rosters make so much more sense than last year.

With the new map i would find it interesting if it would be viable to play 1 bot lane styled lane at top lane and opposite side of the map to the enemies bot lane styled lane. Meanwhile a tank or easy farming mage plays into the enemy duo lane. This idea is just something of like to see tried just simply for the fun of it rather then any particular reason
That wouldn’t do well. Bot dives are already easy for blue side in duo v duo. If it’s duo v solo, even if the solo is a tank, they’re gonna get dove.

Top lane has fortification, but bot does not. So you might just get really far behind the first 5 min.
The problem is that a solo vs duo on top can be super safe due to map structure, while a solo vs duo on bot (maybe +jungler) is an easy diving victim.

I think it's important to factor in a teams ability to master what is essentially a new version of league. I could for example see BDS really struggle in that regard since they don't seem to have the most brainpower on their roster *cough* Adam *cough*. On the other hand Heretics could have be off to a very strong start since Wunder, Jankos and Perkz are all known for their game knowledge and creative thinking when it comes to figuring out metas and so on. This year will reward starting early even more than last year because of the amount of championship points a team could get early just by figuring out the new map faster than others.

Do I want Heretics to do well? Yeah. Do I think Perkz is permanently mental boomed now, Wunder is washed, and Jankos will actually break is back trying to carry everyone from a facilitator role? Also yes. I want to be proven wrong.
Wunder looked quite decent in 2023 Season Finals. It's really just Perkz, that looks like a full coinflip to sign.

BDS without crownie is not gonna work
Ehhhhh I think there will be some shakeup at the top. I feel Rogue is super underrated. K Corp overrated as well as Heretics. I feel BDS takes a step back. As well as XL aka GiantX. I feel this is what it is:
S Tier: G2
A Tier: Fnatic
B Tier: Rogue, BDS, XL aka GiantX
C Tier: KCorp, Heretics, Vitality
D Tier: Mad Lions, SK
Now roster changes can change this but I feel every team here has factors where by summer some of them can crack top 3. Like Mad could, SK with some roster moves it is possible. Heretics to me is doomed to be middle of the pack, Vitality could be Mad of last year which is just stage performers and playoff boosters. Carzzy is a top 3 ADC and no one wants to believe it. Fnatic could fall off a bit but by Summer I think they stabilize. Overall though LEC is G2, Fnatic, and everyone else.

1 to 10 : G2-Fnc-Kc-SK-rogue-bds-Heretics-Vit(insane jungler downgrade)-XL-Mad.
Explanations :
KC 3rd : honestly it's unsure how they'll do, because we don't know how their solo laners will do against good competition, as they dominated erl for a long time. I still rate this team pretty highly because of upset and bo, and the team's ability to win tournaments under pressure.
Rogue : upgrade in jungle. Also, Larssen is great at control mages and with hwei being meta I think he'll stomp many LEC mids in lane.
SK : they have a good botlane, doss was rank 1 recently i think. Nisqy and irrelevant are solid and consistent. Idk much abt isma tho
bds only 6th : i think theyre a bit coinflip, and sheo is a good jungler but LEC other junglers are really really good in general. They can do like 3-7 place tbh
Heretics : idk how they'll do. They'll have to carry through botside/mid, but idk what to expect from them.
Vit : great players but idk abt daglas
XL : they did 4th at summer 2023 because they had good jungler-supp synergy but they changed support somehow (i still think ignar is good tho). but they did good in Summer because LEC was really bad on that split tbh.
Mad : going from chasy-yoya-nisqy-carzzy-hylissang to this roster is idk.... ik there might be some com issues before but what a downgrade
IMO the biggest issue KC will have is their botlane. Targamas us quite a timid support, he likes playing solid yet safe. Upset usually wants to stomp the lane. If they somehow end up having decent synergy, I do agree they can do some damage.

Honestly if MAD Lions roster ISN'T speaking Spanish in comms / day to day, then it's a missed opportunity. Surely, the biggest benefits to being able to put together a team compromised heavily of Spanish players is that they don't have to speak a second language. Yes, most Europeans tend to learn English and every European player in League speaks pretty good English, but also there's no way they WOULDN'T be able to communicate better and faster and have way more natural comms & dynamics if they're able to speak their actual language. So now rather than needing a Belgian, Spaniard, French, Danish and Swede player all speak English to each other, a language they will NEVER be as fluent in as their own mother tongues. You have 4 Spanish players and coaches being able to speak Spanish and the ONLY non-spanish player Fesskowy has been living in the Spanish system long enough where I would not be surprised if he, as a French player, had a stronger grasp on the Spanish language than he does on the English. ESPECIALLY with how many similarities there are in the Spanish & French lanugages. Like if the plan is NOT to have them speaking Spanish, then what was even the point.
It could also turn into a TL summer situation where the only non-Spanish speaker is pretty much abandoned in draft and review

No Winter wasnt their only bad split, Spring was just as shit and while they looked better in Summer I still think that is more attributed to 3 rosters blowing up completely than to them playing massively better, they literally needed 5 games against Mad and only 1 player still plays on that team

Caedrel, with love, do you know why Europe doesn't eat anything at the World Cups? because people think like you and believe that veterans are very good and rookies are not. In the case of the new team formed in Spain, they are not El Yoya's friends, they are those chosen by their coach Melzhet. He is possibly the best coach in Europe and his ethic and way of working is the key. It shows that you only know about the old LEC and nothing about ERLs. This is going to be fun....it will be difficult at first but we are going to conquer you and you are going to change the way you see the rosters. Friends are over.

Edit: Understand the reasoning tbf, but to me Rogue looks very strong individually, and personally I don't see any real playstyle clashes from the players. Maybe Zoelys is a question mark, that's about it though I think.
