Well done video sir! Belgium not only ordered the Griffon and the Jaguar (and 28 Cesar NG). They also train with the French army in the CAMO program. The French doctrine of using army vehicles with as many of the shelf parts as possible keeps costs low and replacement quick, it also makes civilian maintance possible for most of the vehicle if needed.

As always, amazing and top-quality video! Thanks for this content!
Just wanted to point out the "item" when comparing Boxer to VBMR-VBCI combo; the countries that have chosen the Boxer do not have the Africa theater, which is extremely demanding in some features, but do not face "high-tech" enemies, so a vehicle such the Griffon or the Serval could fulfill this tasks without any problem, keeping costs lower than deploying VBCI and also allowing for less logistical effort.
I would like to know how much the total cost of the program + buying each unit is compared to just buying more VBCI or Boxers (for the other countries). Maybe some of the Boxer buyers though about similar development, but it just didn't make sense as they do not have the needs and can reduce logistical costs by buying more Boxers (and therefore fielding less platforms into their inventories).
Finally, if you do a video about the Serval (I hope so) it would be great to compare it to the VBMR, because right now I still don't see how do they fulfill "different" roles.
Thank you, keep doing this great videos!

I applaud our French allies for making the excellent VBMR Griffon series of multifunctional military armored wheeled vehicles. The French Caesar 155mm artillery system has been a major success in the Ukraine. The U.S. should equip most of the U.S. Army with VBMR Griffon and the NATO Boxer series of wheeled armored vehicles for commonality. The need to keep down costs through a scale of economy is crucial for the dangerous peacekeeping and peacemaking missions our soldiers will face around the globe.

There is zero logical reason behind mothballing it to replace the currently existing fleet with VMBR Griffin series and BOXER AFV, two vehicles that already possess a very short list of operators within NATO, making commonality a non-valid reason and excuse.

The vehicle description shown looks very similar to the Timoney MP66 which was designed and Prototyped back in the 90s for the Irish Defence forces .
But never came into service with the Irish Defence forces.
It was the 6x6 version of the MP44 Bushmaster.
The 6x6 was actually designed, Prototyped and manufactured. No actual numbers are known to exist but one was built by the Timoney team back in the 90s.
In connection with the Irish Defence forces declared to go with a 6x6 configuration other than that of the 4x4 Timoney Bushmaster now in service with Australia and other nations.
It looks as the 6x6 was given a rebirth.

From the same problem, the both countries choosed two different path.
Scorpion choose to make three different specialized, and each highly customizable, vehicules - but sharing the samed wheels, transmissions and engine.
And germany choose the same vehicule but you can swap modules, sacrifying greatly the inner space and adding weight - but with better protection and higher modularity.
