Great job sharing the fan point of view and experience! I was at the opener too. Bummer they lost, but played OK considering the absences on the roster. UBS is an overwhelming experience. Great job all around by all involved.
Hearing the goal horn and then the yes chant. It is like the first time hearing “lazy Mary” at Citi Field. The venue might be different but it’s still the Islanders and we can call this beautiful arena their home.

I'm not an Islanders fan but the arena looks wicked beautiful. I live in Queens and this is so convenient. Coming to the Vegas Golden Knights game next Sunday, God willing. Can't wait to see this arena in person
@@IslesGirl3 As I am a sports and travel blogger, I've only gotten to see the outside of it. It hadn't completely been finished the day I went. Very convenient to get to by public transportation.
