It is a ordinary wood stainer available in home depot ..wood point ..stainer

We used red mahogany.. you could use whatever color you want but please be closer to the natural color of the wood.
Polyurethane is used on the top of the stainer.

It will screwed to the base of the tv stand .. you could also use a wood glue to paste it..

The TV stand was purchased from Walmart in the year 2011. I do not think that Walmart carries the same model.

IKEA does offer a more cost-effective TV stand model; please check out IKEA too.

The decorative piece was purchased from Lowes.

One more idea in India they sell wooden moulding like sungu and chakara that could be substituted too.
The Wood stain used was tranparent wood stain .
