We found this fascinating. These innovative and 'avant garde' design features that Virgin have have introduced, have certainly broken with some traditions of the standard cabin design and layout. And as you say, not all have been without comment or criticism, but overall we would be happy with that accommodation; and we aren't at all the 'demographic' virgin is aiming at with their cruise product. Great video with lots of relevant detail and insight 👍
Thanks, glad you enjoyed and found it useful. There are certainly bigger cabins out there, but what is in the cabin, they do very well. The shower is amazing, the storage works, and the smaller details are so nice. We always love staying in the Sea Terrace, it feels like home. Seeing as they don't have to cater to families, there's no need for the sofa bed etc, so they are just right for two people. Plus that hammock is incredible. There is an XL version of this, which offers a bigger bathroom, which fixes my only complaint with the standard Sea Terrace, but it's very much a first world problem, rather than a major issue IMO.
You are in for a treat. I love all cruises, but there’s something special about Virgin Voyages. Did you book direct or with an agent? If direct I can look to see if I can take over the booking and get you some extra loot to enjoy when onboard.
Oh, I just love the cabins on Resilient Lady - they seem to have done such a lovely job of this ship!
We love them so much. They have so many great features, and they always feel like home to us.
