He declared war against Team Avolition and then tried to get our website taken down. He's so stupid, he put his personal cell phone number in the chat on his server. He's so dumb, his server has a chest in spawn with 64 diamonds that says "NO STEALING!!!" He's so retarded, he didn't protect his own house made of solid gold and diamond blocks. His admins are so bad, we got caught griefing their building and we got them to help us. It's absolutely baffling.

I actually did some digging recently and found the old Rice-Think forums. The server may be dead, but the historical artifacts are still around.
It's amazing how much the admins denied and tried to play down how much damage Avo and their fanboys who followed actually did. I was there around a month before the server shut down - and I can personally attest that it was a Hellhole filled with griefing, unlike what their forums would like you to believe.
Update: The official server forums and website are now gone, they went down sometime between 2018-2019 (the last time I had checked on them)

Yea, this server just died after Avo hit it. After it finally came out of Lockdown, all of the Admins went Ban-happy. Dozens of bans went out per hour. They even got desperate enough to recruit other admins from other previously griefed Avo servers. BowlOSoup from the BowlOSoup server episode was an Admin when I checked it out.
Justin McFaul That's hilarious dude. Back in the beta 1.5 days a friend of mine found a server IP for us to play on that was an old alpha world. It was owned by some Russian dude who didn't even care if you used fly mod, and would probably op you if you asked him, the most leniant owner I've ever seen. I managed to get some people to op me within a few days, and those were some good times. Apparently RAWB3RRY from aVo hit the server a couple of times, which introduced me to griefing. At first I was reluctant to grief, but by 1.7 went all in with a couple of friends and destroyed a gigantic base of another admin who was a complete idiot. We had access to WorldEdit and basically devasted everything. Now I'm guessing nobody will read this massive wall of text, but there's my story from the glory days of Minecraft/Griefing.
Their forums are still up if you google rice think. Dear god it's so funny to see the forums about admin abuse and unfair bans, esp on the November and December posts.
I got banned 6/7 years ago, for mining a diamond block near spawn, I remember it vividly, it was called a "honeypot" block, and I'm still banned to this day

@@X3rCobraz what fucking assholes. It's ridiculous that they think real hackers would fall for such an obvious trick. Anyone who would fall for a honeypot block need spawn is definitely innocent. It's just to obvious. Perhaps a few dozen blocks from spawn and a 5 blocks of diamonds would definitely catch a hacker.

This server was seriously fucked! After avolition hit it, I took a little visit to the server myself not really intending any harm. During my short, 5 minute journey, all the while being followed by an admin, I went into a small, partially destroyed wooden plank cube hut for shelter during the night. As soon as I took away two wooden planks to enter the home, he banned me for "griefing".

I happened to visit the forums one day and saw Bru was looking for a shit load of videos and I knew I pretty much had them all on a dead HDD, so I got it working again with some fuss and got them all off. Sent them to him over a period of a few days. Almost wish I put them on my RUclips for the views but I didn't want to risk a copyright takedown / violations account deletion. Got to admit they are funny as hell though.

As great as this video is, Big Brother would have made the vast majority of the damage here absolutely trivial to roll back. For instance, when someone notices their house missing, they could just /home and have that area checked for block modifications.

BB wasn’t nearly as refined back in the day. With the default world saving function usually being 48 hours back then and player specific rollbacks also being tied within that frame; if you didn’t catch a grief within that timeframe you were pretty much SOL. And when you did a good enough job of hiding the evidence as well as Avo did here, by the time they were caught it was too late. BB would not have been able to fix it.

Depends on his skin tone. Tho let's be honest: that is still the least cancelable thing Avo has done that would get them there in todays climate. Looking at the extensive use of the R word, christian sacrilege, doxing, political opinions, and especially anti-semitic stuff they did througout their lifetime (looking at the amount of swa-stars and nazi logos they did so often) that would never fly today.

I think it sadder that these guys take ruining people's fun so seriously. To forge an entire group identity around spending your days knocking over virtual sandcastles is sad. If you genuinely think that the other people deserve it for caring about something they spent hours on, then you're nothing short of a bully and a child. There's a reason that so many griefers are teenagers. I know there's no hope of you accepting this healthier mindset yet, but you will as you grow older.

+ironoutlaw777 Rice-Think actually discontinued not too long ago. The damage Avo did to them was so great that they never were able to really recover. They sort of spiraled out of control after the grief.
