I felt the same way when I first got my uniform but I eventually adapted to it and appreciated not having to pick out a new outfit everyday 😂
This was me in elementary school i used to wear sweaters/jackets over my shirts to match my shoes niyah can try that and a purse to match it as well that would look cute.

Uniforms are okay. The good thing about it is you don’t have to think much about what to wear. The bad part is looking like everyone else and not being able to express yourself

Hey Fam! When Maddie's in town, Niyah gets to feel like the big sister. I love it!! Grandma reminded me of how my mom would say "those pants are too tight" and the sit down test took me out. I thought my mom was the only one that would make my daughter do it. I Soooo Love when your mom is in town.
I understand the frustration of wearing uniforms. Everyone looks the same! Hopefully niyah can get used too it. I wish a successful school year for her💞💙

Niyah it will get better trust me I have to wear uniform since I switched high schools we have to wear only black shoes and a black belt trust me it’s so easy now I just get my clothes and I be on the way 😭
I’m a smooth 40yrs old, but in middle school, I remember having to write an essay about being an opponent or proponent of school uniforms. Ultimately, we had to wear them anyway. Lol!

Do the road trip to Vegas..don't think about the drive time. Myself and my 2 bestie did a road trip not once but twice from Atlanta to Vegas then to California. We had a blast just making memories. We took our last trip in 2019 and unfortunately we lost our friend in 2022. So the fact that we have tons of pics and even more memories to reminisce on and that's awesome. Along the way we would stop and try foods that each state were known for. Tip don't take the route that takes you on the I-10 through Texas that's the longer route. No matter what you decide I'll definitely will be watching. 😮 love you guys ❤

I had to wear uniforms in high school and you know what, it really helped me out! I didn't have to think about what to wear in the morning and it gave me more time in the morning. Plus, she can add tons of accessories like she always does and show her personality being who she is!

My daughter wears uniforms and they have to wear everything with the school name on it down to the socks and all black shoes but it’s easier to me and they have lots of dress down days!
I am looking forward to see their reaction of the cruise but I am really excited to see that road trip! I love just getting on the road and being somewhere else within hours. Plus, the memories created are going to be amazing!
I feel Niyah on the uniforms your individuality is important especially for young people. Charter schools require uniforms in most cases.

They are made of soft silicone & don’t have that plastic part like the ones you bought.

as someone that goes to a charter school that requires uniform everybody be getting cute khakis at like hollister, American eagle, Aeropostale, fashion nova. Cause them straight khakis don’t be flattering and fitting right

30:51 this is old fashioned, but the AAA travel centers can help you plan your road trip stops for free. If they still exist - I went to one for a road trip from FL to Canada back in 2016 and the lady got our whole plan down in under 45 minutes

I’ve wore uniforms from kindergarten - til now (going to 10th grade in august) at first I didn’t like it but I eventually got used to it because it’s easier than finding a outfit to wear everyday😂 you’ll get use to niyah, just spice the uniform up & you’ll look cute!

In Florida Jacksonville charter schools and private wear uniforms and some elementary and middle wear uniforms cause kids be picking on kids bout they clothes not all high and middle wear uniforms but they need to for all schools

Yes Sis, cruises are crazy expensive during the summer. That’s why I stick with spring or fall cruises…….much cooler and less crowded.

My daughter attended a charter school and wore uniforms, it made life easier for us. Waterford Lakes does have everything over there. It's always busy on that side of town.

I actually liked the uniforms better I have a senior and sophomore and I would be rich everytime they ask me did they already wear something. Like even though it's uniform my 16 year old daughter gets matching purses , accessories and shoes to match with each other . Because to me anything goes with uniforms when it come to shoes. ❤❤❤😊
