The other day I was trying to find any information about Season 6 because I’m really curious about what awaits us and I want to know their plans. But instead I found disquieting news about the actor who portrays Jack, Martin Henderson. So today I decided to share what I found with you guys so we can discuss if it may affect Virgin River’s fate or not.

Virgin River is the success it is because of Martin Hendersen, he is the whole show. All. The actors are great in their roles and complement each other. Can't wait for season 6 to start filming.

This is a great series. Henderson is soooo charismatic and as long as they
continue the "love scenes" between Jack & Mel AND keep the other character's
stories interesting, the show should continue for several years!

You did not reveal anything new. He said that he had a surgery and he’s fine. So it’s probably taken care of and it’s not an ongoing health issue. You again did not tell us anything new. I loved loved Season 6. It brought the town together and resolved relationships and new characters. The 2 Christmas episodes were so good. Martin is fine but his type of surgery is private though not necessarily a health issue- he looked well and himself at recent signing in Vancouver
