Hi Kathy! I'm an over 50 June baby as well and taking my first solo trip in 3 weeks! I'm excited and nervous. Thank you for this video. It has helped calm me.🎉
Kathy I’m with you on the #travel solo! You have so much more freedom and there’s no issue of having to accommodate others. Brava for you embarking on your exciting solo travel journey!
I’m glad that you’ve mas solo travel a priority for yourself! I’m a rookie at traveling abroad but have enjoyed solo travel so much at my “seasoned” stage in life.
@@kathyhampton_wellandaware I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Things are a lot easier with Google translate, maps, WhatsApp, social media. You can plan the entire vacation online. And even reach out to others to arrange meet ups. You’re never truly alone, unless that IS the goal 😆
Hi Kathy, June is my birth month as well. I started off doing it alone here in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico 🇲🇽 But since arriving, I have made new contacts. I love solo soul sojourning.🧡🦋🌻
I understand going it alone may seem daunting and scary for some. I also understand that we can surprise ourselves by taking small steps to move toward what we may want to do such as travel by ourselves if no one will join us.🥰
@@sashajay3365 I found Mexico City, Oaxaca Mexico to be safe cities to travel through. I also spent three months in the 3rd safest country in the world Portugal. I spent time in Sintra, Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Braga and other small towns throughout Portugal and felt very comfortable traveling; using public transportation, Ubers, and moving around by myself, a single woman. It's out there. I found the world is not as bad as it is portrayed. I also have faith to be discerning and use safe measures.
Hi Kathy! are u still traveling solo? I would love to travel solo with you. I really want to find someone to travel with first before I start traveling alone by myself. Please give me some suggestions on feedback.
@tryandsee22 thanks for your comment. I do travel solo and love it. I would suggest meeting up with a tour group or also a retreat group. I offer wellness retreats and you can travel solo and meeting up with like minded women if you are so aligned. Find a group or tribe that meets your interest.

Solo travel is amazing for us accommodating folks. We need it.
Yes it is! Caregivers need time alone. To regroup with themselves!!!
I absolutely love solo travel.
I make time every year for a family trip and my own solo vacation.
