Finally I found the only video doing this! I don’t know how to use a sewing machine so I’m going to try melting holes then use ribbon or yarn to stitch. I’m hoping to melt the holes together. Not sure if it will work but going to give it a shot. Thank you so much for posting this video 😊

This is exactly the cover I need to place my B6 stalogy in my Appunto. Thanks!

I like the first cover, I like how it looks with the wider stitching. It looks like it would be very secure and would hold up better than a single stitch.

Create It Jazzi time will tell but I definitely wanted to try doing both. It only costs less than $3 to try it so why not😊 Thanks for watching.

Now I find this :D I did my own too, but mine came out a bit franken-style. The main issue for me was I'm using an old singer (circa the 60s) and I think I had the wrong stitch, so it really bunched underneath. It still looks fine and I was elated to make it, but I need to get a better understanding of my machine--I used it a ton as a kid, but then stopped sewing. So, going back to this, I'm feeling like I'm in home ec class. I did think about using the zig zag stitch but I didn't have the proper feet for it. Love how yours turned out!

This might be pretty late but the dot marks you made turned out not aligning with the palnner is because you measured it while the planner is open. You always need to measure the cover wrapped around a closed book/planner for more accurate results.

@@bigbowlofsweettea Nope it worked just fine and I am still using it years later. Thank you.😊

I wanna attempt to make my own jelly cover but I don’t know how to use a sewing machine, I can’t find Etsy sellers who make them for the planner I need so that’s why I wanna attempt to make my own, yours turned out really nice

Could you cover a composition notebook with a sheet of this? I mean size wise???

If you purchase a big enough jelly sheet then certainly. It will work for any size book😊

Is there a certain kind of needle you use or do you have a commercial sewing machine? I do not have a sewing machine but my mom does that I can use, but it is not commercial. She thought you may need a certain needle to go through the jelly sheets Thanks for any info!

MsMaddog1968 I have just a regular baby lock sewing machine and I used a regular needle on the thicker side. Best of luck with your craft😁Thanks for watching.

Just a tip for those who want to try this: Make sure you stitch pretty side UP. At least with my machine, if you stitch on the pocket side up, your stitches will be the 'messy' side on the visible cover. Only took me 20 minutes to redo mine and pull all the stitching out :D
