I am Myuu. A musician who loves writing dark piano songs. They are free to use as long as credit is given. I always try to make the music sound creepy and beautiful at the same time. In addition to my piano and horror soundtracks I also do orchestrated pieces and industrial/experimental work.
No doubts, a game released 10 years of its time ahead. And ones of those last games produced by Shinji Mikami hands
Diego Righi How I wish Shinji Mikami would be creating the newer RE games... I think Re2remake without Alyson Court is bad enough, good game thou’ not good enough...
Its ahead of the time fr its super relevant today.
The graphics still freakn stand the test of time for a PlayStation 2 game.

From the large and iconic library of memorable Resident Evil themes, I still strongly believe, Outbreak has the best one.
Also the way it’s constantly used in the full soundtrack, sometimes it’s a theme of hope, sometimes a theme of despair, but it always makes you feel the true horrors of what this group of people had to go through in Raccoon City.

With todays multiplayer capabilities, outbreak could offer so much to the resident evil community. A genuine multiplayer horror game that isnt like dead by daylight or any of its clones. Get a bunch of friends together and play through the campaign. Keep true enough to the fanbase yet change enough as they did with re 4. Add a couple extra game modes with the likeness of mercinaries give the ability to play to become zombies once reanimated like in the og outbreak series and tons of unlockables that you can only get by grinding and skill along with cosmetics you can purchase (because why not) then you have yourself a masterpiece.
(If this came off scatterbrained understand im working on 3 hrs of sleep) the concept is genius and itll keep the game freah for years.
I used to restart the console JUST to watch n listen to this theme again as a kid. Over n frickin over again. I have the cinematic downloaded to my computer n I still watch it to this day, I LOVE it. This piano cover is GORGEOUS.

The best resident evil theme ever! And a pretty nice game... Better imo than resident evil 6,ORC and revelations(sorry I didn't like it) old times old games... This music just make you imagine the folly of an umbrella's researcher discovering the t virus or better the G virus

To be honest, I feel like Resident Evil 4 made Resident Evil more of an iconic series. Resident Evil 4 not only reinvented Resident Evil, but also brought in LOTS of new people to the franchise. I personally prefer these older ones, heck, I was trying to pick up RE3 for my gamecube the other day, but I won't pretend like Resident Evil 4 is what really shines the most, next to Resident Evil 2... but eh, that's my opinion... though my personal favorite is Code Veronica.
I still think Resident Evil 4 was the best in the series. It was far from the scariest, but it had it's good creepy moments with stuff like the regeneradores and the novistadors. Gameplay-wise I think it's still the most fun in the series to date. It's just after that, with 5 and 6, they tried to recapture the same magic and ruined it by taking the action elements too far while essentially scrapping any and all horror elements. Those games were also way too linear compared to all the other ones before it, and even scrapped RE4's inventory system for really weird shitty ones before they eventually just went back to the classic inventory with 7.
I honestly liked RE4-RE6. RE5 and RE6 were pretty much improved versions of RE4 since both play in a similar manner that RE4 did. Just because they focused more on action, doesn’t mean they're automatically bad. In my eyes, RE was really never exclusively for horror only since the first game. If I want horror, RE wouldn't be the first place I'd look into (including the old games as well). I'd look more into Dead Space or Silent Hill. RE has always been more of an action-adventure for me with small dips of horror, but nothing else. I think the only RE games I had troubled enjoying were Outbreak, RE7, Dead Aim, and Umbrella Corps, all mainly due to their poor gameplay. RE7 tops it all for being one of the worst since it lacked so much for a mainstream RE game.

It was meant to be an online game so it would literally be perfect to remake it now when online gaming is so popular
@@DirectorHMAN Truthfully they need to add options to do fixed camera angles or third person. I love third person but at times I miss fixed camera angles for the nostalgia.
Sadly if that ever happened, it would be a freaking Dead By Daylight-style game like Resistance. I miss Outbreak but it needs to never come back simply because it won't be what it should be. If they'd do it correctly, then, by all means, I hope for it to come back. First Code Veronica X, Zero and 1 should be remade.
This is my favorite piano song by far for at least 6 years by now. No one can beat it. You did an amazing job and it is, in my opinion, better than the original song.

If I remember there was part in the game where Cindy could play the piano in the university, you’d get the blue from the statue gem and some ammo. Got to love those piano puzzles.

ah this brings back some good memories, i loved playing outbreak, though my first time ever playing i made the mistake of hiding in a room while i left to get something to eat thinking my character would be fine. lol imagine my surprise when i saw him attacking the rest of my party

A série Outbreak, sem duvida, são os melhores jogos da saga; eu gosto muuuito tmb de RE1, RE2, RE3 e CODE Veronica, mas, na minha opinião, não chegam nem aos pés dos Outbreaks!!!

outbreak and outbreak file 2 are two of my all time favorite games.. i just wish in file 2 that they would have left the voice ad lib on i missed it in that game. especially kevin picking up his own special ammo and saying what's this used for? i also wish someone would figure out a way to recreate or even hack a server web site so one could play on line i never got the chance to play this game online... what good is buying an on line game when you can't play it on line but what can you do..
Mostly I don't like remixes for the first listen but this is an exception
