the one from 6:00 onwards is outrageous, bro put a flower to take two hits so you can hit the invisible block under the door, THEN another invisible block for a spike helmet so you can break the blocks above the door exit you spawn to, and THEN a checkpoint in case you die there (somehow??) just before the little tip of the actual ending of the level... jesus
The checkpoint was used as a prop for the end castle in normal levels. This was done to play it off as "look at this cool castle" I made instead of it being an obvious dev exit.

In what world is that second level a dev exit? You have to clear-check levels from each checkpoint, the creator had to do that part Dashie did too. I can't speak for whoever made the level, but if I had to guess, that checkpoint is there as like, an alternative route. You can choose to continue trying the path down the pipe if you think the P-Switch thing is too hard, or start over and try to make that jump to the flag without having to go down. It's actually really well designed, it's a shame you're trying to call it a dev exit.
There were two other levels he included in these compilations that weren't actual dev exits, but alternate routes, the exits were both in plain sight and were not hard at all to figure out.

hes actually a really good super mario maker player its just the levels he plays are always either troll or impossibly difficult with dev exits
the ones he usually next's all probably have a dev exit since they're so difficult

Tbh i cant see it being a dev exit. Even if it skipped you to the end of the level theres no way to get to the checkpoint.
