    Great interview. Thank you. (nb If interviewers need to take notes, handwritten still the best. Or sound proof typing as last resort. As typing affects sound quality. Hope all interviewers/commentators are aware of this).

    😆😅🤣not a sovereign wealth fund, for sure. even the finance chief said as much. now, why get funds from banks which has its own investment priorities. tis not a choice for landbank and development bank. tis imposed on them which may be against their particular mandates. on these points alone, they should at least pause...blessings to all

  • @jerichointacto
    @jerichointacto Год назад +1

    its good to be a bank. akalain mo kung may 1M ka, pwede ka pala magpautang ng 10M. san nanggaling yung 9M?

    • @scuunjieng
      @scuunjieng Год назад

      Basic banking from deposits from which they make loans. The equity which by regulation is around 10% provides the buffer

    • @jerichointacto
      @jerichointacto Год назад

      eh ang linaw nga ng sinabi nya. they give loans 10x more than what they actually have(deposit). more like legalized staffa and counterfeiting.

    • @scuunjieng
      @scuunjieng Год назад

      @@jerichointacto10x equity not 10x deposits. Please listen carefully. That is basic banking that everyone follows. It is the effect of allocating the equity to Maharlika which reduces lending capacity. For a normal bank loans are less than deposits. It is equity that provides the minimum buffer. It is not to repeat 10x loans but 10x equity. Very big difference. The main point is Maharlika will reduce their free equity which will mean a 10x effect for lending available. Not what you are writing.

    Sakit ng Pinoy is to criticize everything and anything until nothing gets done. Analysis paralysis….. in the meantime everyone else is moving along then you realize that you’re left behind.

      Are you implying that we just blindly go along with everything the politicians want to do? Stephen Cuunjieng is an expert in the field of investment. He knows what he is talking about. If you have rebuttals against his expert opinion, we are more than glad to hear them out.

      Sakit ng mga pinoy gaya mo yan. No problem in getting things done. But getting things done without clearly studying about it, is getting things done in a wrong manner
