Now he is nearly 40 and is our family guru. He has cultivated a close and loyal group of friends and relatives over the years and we all go to him for advice and council. He is wise and good.

I went through a similar process, full athiest mode, i couldn't stop there forever tho. I did believe I had arrived at the truth, i mean my background has always been science focused and still is so it makes sense to drop religion and all notions of intelligent design. Over time I came across more and more people more intelligent than I am, I continued to inquire about how someone with high-IQ could possibly entertain religion/God, it seemed so incongruent. It was a tough pill to swallow, and I still can't completely grasp how God could be possible, but in a seemingly arbitrary and unconventional way, I could see how God could be a possibility. Even with the best scientific tools and theories and models available to us, we reach a limit at how much we can truly understand about the past. It's dangerous to attribute what one doesn't know as "an act of God", this is a VERY dangerous trap. If we pose the question what happened before the big bang, and the best science can tell us that it's possible the big bang was not truly the beginning and just apart of a theoretical "multiverse" well then science while rooted in objectivity, also makes too many leaps in areas that we humans cannot understand yet. Even the best best cosmologists reach a limitation at which objective science can give us the truth, and from there they must attempt to make as logical leaps and conclusions as possible. I don't want to attribute any unknowns to God, but if we were to accept that the Universe or Multiverse's grandiosity is of such great magnitudes that it's incomprehensible to us, then I think there is room to say that maybe God played a role. I wonder if your INFJ son will settle on his answer, or continue further. If he's truly INFJ, i doubt he'll sit still forever.

@Luminya M There's no evidence for the multiverse and the big bang, just best guesses based on theoretical mathematics and modeling, and yet we use science as our "objective" truth. We humans if not highly intelligent are unlikely to be able to grasps such grandiose ideas as the multiverse or God. I don't have an answer for either and i'll forever be searching, but I'm open to learning from those smarter than I, and many many of the most intelligent people on this planet mess with both ideas of rejecting God and accepting an idea of God. If you're not INFJ, i doubt you could understand how such notions could be entertained, but it's okay we all have strengths and weaknesses and limitations! 😁

I find that living Islam is what people really need. How can it not be true when you're constantly being asked to use your intellect, reflect and think. This is ultimate freedom. To be a slave of Allah,The One True God is what makes you free, cause then you can't be enslaved and owned by anything or anyone else. The One who created you, only He gets to say what's permissible and what isn't. And he's made all harmful things to us, unlawful. If you commits such acts, then you're harming yourself. The signs are all around you, and in yourself, but only a few reflect and actually see the truth.

As a young INTJ, I 100% agree about the seeing is believing and the nihilism perspective. At the age of 5, I remember I was at school playing basketball during recess and one of the children asked me, "Christian, do you believe in God?" And I remember myself straight up saying, "No." My whole life I believed that God was there, but I had to see Him myself in order to have complete confidence in my faith. That experience actually didn't happen until very early December in 2020, but that is a whole story for another time that I will share on another video that discusses religion. INFJ male here, this speaks volumes to my mindset after leaving my parents and home state. I've been with a ENTP for 7 year and going to be married soon, she believed nothing and I wanted to share my Baptist beliefs with her but I didnt feel I knew the truth so how could I? So I've researched the truth and real meaning in the bible and all the misconceptions and edits from history, I started researching other religions (agnostic, atheist, occultist, forgotten dead and living religions and so on). They all started piecing in a puzzle that structured my mind in a true belief, a little from everything as it's like a sudoku problem. It's been eye opening but I've fallen victim to the nihilistic perspective, in this day and age it's hard with the economic struggles to not see nihilistic views. This video just adds to the fact that people arent complex and they never will be, we can be read like a book, what's complex is the civilization and world we live in, were just too arrogant to see.

I totally agree with you, and honestly I found my deep dive into religion to have similar results
I don't think the nihilistic perspective has to be the default, personally I really enjoy "Optimistic Nihilism" aka Existentialism
Just like how Nihilists say "Nothing matters, I may as well do as I please" (paraphrasing), Existentialism is more like "Nothing matters, so why be anything other than kind to others when I can be?"
Value is how it is defined in the self, honestly. It always has been. Lots of aspects of humanity have value to me; literature, art, passion, etc.
I personally don't believe a lack of divine value makes things valueless (the core of typical Nihilistic reasoning), rather, values have always been what we judge them to be. We ourselves, are only organisms after all. xD

I am a male INFJ and an Agnostic Theist, in my personal opinion I don't align with organized religion at all (or most angles of spirituality). It is almost certain that the metaphysical exists, but humans are only assuming knowledge of it through implied symbolism (which we call religion)
You ask most people why they believe and once you get past the initial dogma, it is basically "Because my parents did and their parents did before them", or "Because it gives me assurance"
I have no hatred for organized religion and scientifically speaking, those who are religious often lead healthier and more fulfilled lives than those who are not. What I dislike as well, is people that do not truly critically think about it at all. x.x

I'm an INTP and come to be Christian after being brought up in a religious and spiritually devoid culture and family.
It's a long story but essentially I had prayers answered too many times for me to rationalize anymore. In fact my rational mind is constantly battling my new Christian understanding of the world. The glue that always keeps me from straying too far from Christianity at this point is the " healthier and more fulfilled lives" aspect you alluded to above. For me Christianity just seemed like the right fit in that respect, and I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the human beings at my local church who confirmed to me I was on a good path.
It's also a good bedrock for me to start a family with given the cultural decay in recent decades, and lack of meaning for many, I would rather my kids had a sense of meaning that is higher than themselves rather than finding meaning in lower things such as money, status, self gratification ect
Having opened myself up to this path by understanding it's utility I do find myself believing more and praying more (whilst also having internal doubts) It's an interesting turn in my life for sure

    • @gaving7825
      @gaving7825 2 года назад +1

@@Flamable1 I'm glad Christianity and your faith provides you with a rock to lean on in troubled times and times of doubt, I don't have a problem with the faith per-se, but I suppose my problem lies in people the believe blindly and hate any outsiders voraciously
I went to Church on Sunday a lot growing up, Sunday school, Catechism and was confirmed by the church, etc. I never once hated it, but the thing that bothered me the most... is that nobody knew why they believed. And if nobody truly knows, and tells you not to question it... it is a sketchy situation for a critical thinker, as you know. xD
I think people who think critically often leave the church or justify it within acts of synchronicity (divine coincidence, as you mentioned). But I think the attribution of /specific/divine values themselves to acts of synchronicity are treading shaky ground built on logical fallacies.
After all, when the Buddhist experiences synchronicity, does he thank Christ? Does the Christian thank or attribute it to Thor? Does the Ancient Norseman in the cold suddenly attribute it to Shiva, god he has never heard of or known? No.
The missing piece of the puzzle is mental frameworks. Without mental frameworks we cannot justify anything, so we seek to know them, so we can 'know' more. Knowledge itself is a synthetic interpretation of reality but not reality itself, ergo, we fit "inexplicable" things into whatever frameworks we can to keep from going mentally deranged or imbalanced
I will also say I also don't think morality and religion are tied at all, and good teachings are easy to understand regardless of religion's involvement. "You need religion to be good" is itself more of a Christian 'hat trick'. Because do you, really? I personally know better than to do unto others, that I don't want returned to me.
Sounds like Christianity, you might say. And you would be right, but it is also Karma. It's all symbolic interpretation of the 'perceived' divine. xD
I say none of this out of ill will or hate to be clear but I will always encourage people to consider other perspectives and I also try to consider theirs, but I figured I would pitch back my two cents as well since I find discussions like this (and people's perspectives) fascinating
I appreciate you sharing your perspective as well and I hope my thoughts might be worth considering in kind! 😎

It’s not that all belief systems are true, it’s that there are nuggets of truth _within_ these belief systems. The way Ni works is by looking at all of this and triangulating the data so that the INxJ can derive a theme which then leads to a grand narrative being created. This is necessary for “world peace” as we essentially look for common ground rather than focussing on the differences which can be attributed to the way everyone perceives things differently. The source stays the same, but the interpretation of said source differs based on the system. This doesn’t mean, however, that I don’t personally follow a specific philosophy or religion. I have my own biases, and I follow what I believe to make the most sense within my Ni narrative, which I can also apply in the sensory world so that it isn’t just useless philosophical BS.

INTJ here, I have been using my ENTP shadow and ESFP subconscious to have enormous success with women. Then eventually I became nihilistic, I had to plow through Nietzsche and Schopenhauer and Greek philosophers, I actually read all of world history and that made sense of the philosophy, then Carl Jung and and extreme life situations forced me to connect all the dots.
The most important revelation I got from all of this world knowledge was this, that no amount of philosophy can actually surpass the moral teachings of bible and Quran, we humans havnt managed to surpass the Bible or Quran in philosophy. The knowledge in bible is extremely superior to anything human beings have ever produced. So my conclusion was this, that God is real and he exists. I found god through knowledge and life experience.

I'm INTJ. Grew up in atheistic/agnostic environment. Now I'm going all-in for the Biblical worldview. Here's why:
I did my due diligence and actually looked at what evidence is presented by the different worldviews. The existence of ghosts (demons who pretend to be human souls) is a well-documented fact and it disproves atheism and necessitates the belief in a spiritual world. Same can be said about the existence of occult phenomena (people who break laws of physics by borrowing supernatural power from demons - whether the demons reveal their true nature or disguise themselves as "invisible energy and yin/yang/chakras" and whatnot).
So which theistic worldview is the real one? The Biblical worldview is supported by archaeology and real science (see Ron Wyatt). But of course, the atheism/agnosticism hegemony in academia won't admit it and will instead misinterpret the facts/observations as "evolution" and "big bang" (see Kent Hovind where he disproves their misinterpretations and explains how those findings are actually evidence of Biblical events like Noah's flood, etc).
Islam isn't valid because Koran is just a plagiarized, edited, corrupted version of the Bible - the latter being the original. Muslims falsely assume that Bible has "many versions" when in fact those "versions" are just translations that derive from one original version if you read in original Hebrew language.
Buddhism/Hinduism aren't valid because they literally don't have any logical arguments to support their beliefs. It's just wishful thinking: "there is suffering in this world so I want the suffering to end by going to Nirvana, so that automatically implies that Nirvana stuff is true, and meditating seems like a plausible way to get there and it makes me feel good that there's a way to reach Nirvana, so it must be true that meditation and stuff will get me there".
EDIT: someone asked for evidence of supernatural occult phenomena and demons/ghosts. The highest ROI evidence is probably looking up video recordings of that. Verbal evidence isn't strong enough, and direct engagement in these things is dangerous and can infest your house with demons that terrorize you and make your life a living hell while possessing/manipulating you into becoming evil and destructive to yourself and others.

I am an ISFP and am catholic. It was hard to become one though. I mean, I come from religous family, but I didn’t really believe till I was like 17 y.o. since I didn’t understand the belief system of Catolicism.
Anyway, as I started my senior year in high school I got a new catechist and that’s the time that I started to grow with my faith. I mean, the catechist seemed authentic and it triggered me, so I kept asking questions and reading books that he recommended.
This went with learning to pray. I started to talk to God and developed good connection between us. And yet, I think the bond and knowledge wouldn’t be enough. God showed me many times that He exists, listens to me and cares about me. And He answered my prayers in different ways.
If not those experiences, I think I wouldn’t be so sure that what I believe is true. I mean, if I didn’t experience them till now from time to time, because I end up forgetting them after a while 😅

  • @Igneous01

I tested as an INTJ, and I grew up with a nihilistic father and a Catholic mother. So I got both perspectives growing up. I believe there is a God, but I also believe that none of the religious texts truly explain who God is, or the nature of God. There are just too many contradictions between the different religions to make any concrete definition of what God is. Some say God is all loving and peace, yet Jesus said 'I did not come to bring peace, I came with a sword'.
The Tao Te Ching is probably the most balanced of all the spiritual books, as it addresses the purpose of the warrior. Where Christianity and Catholicism seem to mock the warrior and see it as evil and unnecessary, never did Jesus say 'Those who live by the sword, shall die by the sword' is a sin. That is simply the way of the warrior. I read the Nag Hammadi, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Quran, parts of the Hindu texts, the Buddhist texts, and the Emerald Tablets of Thoth. But I've also read 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and Animal Farm.
On the one hand, it seems that society led by the word of man inevitably decays into totalitarianism and death. Yet all the societies that were founded on the word of God, eventually became corrupted as the word of God replaced the word of men. Now we live in a time where much of our moral questions are not answered by the sacred texts, so we must look within our hearts to find the missing scripture. And then I read the book of Ecclesiastes and can't help but agree with the author... are we not all toiling away meaninglessly in our lives? Has everything not already been done before, and that which has not been done, be done again? Are the cycles of creation and destruction inevitable? Is totalitarianism inevitable?
Was the serpent that tempted Eve not God? After all, why would God desire to create perfect yet ignorant beings? Surely a God would create life that it itself could talk to. Surely God has seen all manner of good and evil long before there ever was an Earth, long before there ever was man? And what of the halls of Amenti, the dweller, the lords of life and death? What of the king who sits on the throne blacker than night? Is that not God?
And what of the unnameable, unknowable Tao? Is that not the abyss itself? The place of nonexistence where everything came to be? Does God not descend into darkness, only to rise into the light once more, with power and faith restored, as proclaimed by Thoth?
And the Gospel of Judas. That the kingdom of God is found within? Somewhere in this complex web of ancient sacred texts, there exists some sort of universal truth connecting all of them, but it has been so distorted by man, as to seem impossible to comprehend.

As an INFJ, I can only say that my version of 'more effort' in this area involves looking at the connections between people's beliefs, the scenarios that lead to beliefs to begin with, and the localizations of beliefs which gives the value of juxtaposition in what is 'mainstream' and why that is different in different places. Even with extraneous effort, I do not personally think that it is possible to verify "god", "gods", or "divine" in the sense of omnipotent or omnipowerful beings - but it does appear reasonable to assert "spiritual intelligences," with whatever means or aims that might entail, even to the extent of guiding humanity, the evolution of earth and other places in space. That idea could even reasonably include our own human spirits being involved in said historical evolutions of our planet when we are not personally alive in a body, which would conflict with the idea that only god guides all things (not saying that it is only humans, just that we might be part of a grander system that we arent aware of... potentially, which merits consideration) - but honestly it seems a lot more practical to think this way in the sense that we arent assuming that a single consciousness is behind 'all things' which DOES feel a bit cartoony and meant for people of low intellect to wrap their minds around something simple and easy.
Perhaps this seems semantical, but there is a certain emotion that many people appear to affirm when thinking of or talking about an idea referred to as god. The emotion that people appear to have in this instance projects too many inner narratives, to the extent that any spiritual event can be attributed as a work of god, and any emotional event can be attributed to god as well. Suddenly, all of life is god. It's a lot like people who look deeply into numerology - the numbers start to be associated with a feeling, or an impulse, and that starts to paint a narrative that is projected everywhere. Everything is the numbers to some, everything is god to many, or everything is... whatever else people tend to think or feel strongly about. But, ultimately, the narrative is sourced from human imagination and emotion, and the only part that truly matters (in my opinion) is if it helps you to get through your life or pursue your goals. For many it does seem to help with those things, but sadly our modern mainstream religions also often create sectors of people to be abused by beliefs that specifically target and ostracize them. In this, the value is defeated by a lot of huge problems, many of which can be traced to parts of history where humans decided that certain beliefs would be helpful in controlling the populace to do or not do certain things. In those instances, what we might think of as spiritual was nothing more than politicians maneuvering their respective playgrounds, and if you look at modern politics you can see how easily public slander can be adopted with a fanaticism that mirrors religious belief.
As someone who has experienced many spiritual occurrences and who seeks to have more experiences that will expand my awareness (no I am not referring to drug use,) I think it is useful and perhaps even important to reduce my own beliefs and ideas to a base form - to reduce bias, to reduce assumptions of what is or isnt - until all that is left is what is necessary for my understanding, to verify experiences, to maintain my ego for the purpose of motivation, and to fulfill my emotional need to perceive 'something' spiritual that is greater than 'nothing' while not taking it to the extreme of living totally within ethos. All of this is highly life defining, and honestly it is questionable how much deviating from the mainstream belief sets benefits an individual beyond being able to use that as a way to bond with other outliers. It is clear that there could be benefits in such a pursuit, but it isnt clear exactly how those benefits would manifest in society at large for people, except perhaps to mirror our current one, just with a few different bits of flavor here and there within the popular ideologies (since specific beliefs are not necessarily the core of mainstream ideas, but rather feelings of attachment are and that can be applied and lived within most things with a great deal of similarity no matter how true or untrue) - ultimately, it seems that the path of seeking a truer experience of something spiritual will always be an outlier activity with that in mind.
Critical thinking in this area can be... complicated and perplexing to say the least. I think it is impossible if you are attached to your beliefs because by our nature we are attached to our upbringing, and you can only analyze it properly by being detached from it. And only someone who values doing so would even want to, so not all people who are detached would. It's a strange middle area.

Love you Mr. Joseph, have become one of my favourite RUclipsrs in less than a month. One of my most influential intellectual discoveries this year, and this is coming out of a graduate programme.
However, please bear in mind that Islam, although characterised by a fundamentally individual relationship with God (we don’t have confession booths or priest intercessors), is a communally practiced religion.
One of the things the INTJ and INFJ will benefit most from religion is a sense of community and belonging to something more meaningful than themselves, especially due to their perceived sense of isolation and despair.
The term “organised religion” is a historically loaded term that applies best to the European concept of The Church as an institution, one that would take vulgar amounts of money from its religion’s believers and adherents.
Let me make this clear: for all of Islam’s current malpractice and lack of critical thinking from its adherents (a criticism which I wholeheartedly agree with): we never had such a concept of a “Mosque” (with a capital M, just didn’t exist) as an institution of power and control, or mosques that would syphon money out of Muslims. On the contrary, this practice is a major sin in the religion and is almost entirely unheard of. What happened in your personal life is inconceivable to a Muslim’s relationship to a mosque.
Islam being grouped with the critical term of “organised religion” that connotes with the corruption of the Church, is factually incorrect, and makes you come off as ignorant.
Otherwise: Keep up the extraordinary work, my friend. But encourage people towards spiritual community, with a healthy dose of scepticism, despite all of it’s flaws. We are social animals, as well as meaning-seeking animals.

I reject all religions and I follow nobody. I am not a nihilist. So you assume incorrectly.
I choose to KNOW. Not to believe. I chose to remember. To know myself as soul. To reject all normals. All dogmas. To not believe in anything.
Belief is a dirty word when you can choose to know for yourself.
To be a nihilist is to have incorrect assumptions from the perspective of ego, where limited mind forgets about unlimited consciousness/ soul. And thinks there is nothing, materialism. This is the new religion of science. STILL a belief.
Odin sacrificed himself for self knowledge. Crucifying himself on the tree of life sacrificing identification with ego (to live in identification with ego is a dead life).. to die and access unlimited consciousness (to be born) coming back to life and bringing the runes (language/ mysteries) to life with him.
The old gods are not to be believed in literally, they are metaphors reflecting consciousness in natural processes of birth and death.. and examples of paths you can take.
You are supposed to be intelligent enough to see this but modern humans post Christianity..are the dumbest of any generations yet.
Before Christ, Europe had no base negative assumption about being humans and no guilt built into culture and our bodies. They understood nature as a reflection of self. They knew that death is not because I AM. They did not live in fear of hell and ideas of God.
and before Christianity, kids as young as 7 would have figured this out, to not take the stories literally.
Something abrahamic followers of an eastern control system have failed to work out even as old men and women for generations. Chopping down all the forests for conquest.
To believe in something precludes you from seeing it's opposite and condemns you to not KNOWING. To death and blindness.
      All truths are half truths.

I saw the title of this and thought "ooh interesting"... then I thought, nah, I believe, it doesn't apply to me...then I heard CSJ say Si demon needs "confidence in what it believes and can turn nihilistic"...I said, damn, that is me even in my faith...so I have to write it out maybe for just myself even...
    My faith journey has been:
First I'm a cradle Catholic (I'm Mexican so yeah, along with the Irish we are a pretty Catholic heritage) meaning I was baptized as a baby and grew up with the faith; going to mass, R.E (religious education) but also grew up in public school not in a catholic school. So for me it was, go to school, then go to R.e where they teach you about the faith every Monday evening. Writhes, candles at Christmas etc.. I learned the prayers etc all good.
But I took it all for granted. It wasn't until I got to college that I found out Atheists existed (the irony haha) and it was a very cold feeling...I searched...I found...it was scary...I survived...
Overall though, I think Ni needs hope and innately knows there is more to the world than society would have you believe and it is this part of the faith that I hold onto...there is a puzzle piece missing that goes unsatisfactorily explained...i.e. I'd rather think of myself as a god (are ye not gods?) not a monkey but to each their own...
I am not a "good Catholic" though and have always struggled to go to mass regularly. So on one hand I enjoy praying, on the other, I don't like religion (even though I recognize it's beauty)...I blame being non-systematic by nature for this...but idk just being honest.
My faith as of now is to just pray:
    1. The Devotion of the 3 Aves everyday - one Hail Mary for each person of the trinity (to go directly to heaven upon death no purgatory) ...so why not?
    2. The Devotion to the 7 Sorrows of Mary - where you pray one Hail Mary for each sorrow and you get a grace for each...I think Fi critic is good at embracing that and I find peace with it.
Also, there is a grace that says *"you can obtain as much as you ask for* as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine son or the sanctification of your soul"...my Ni hero is like..."I'm listening..." haha
    3. And the Chaplet of Divine Mercy to ease my Fe parent and care for the world.
But that is it. I'm trying to keep it simple. *Being triple interest and not systematic I am not very structured (working on it) and I do struggle with nihilism in general but I just pray because I can't let go of hope.*

I'm also an INFJ but a former Catholic. I became a Protestant once I realised that Catholicism is heresy, which is revealed by simply reading the Bible. There is no Biblical basis for many Catholic doctrines - such as the doctrine of purgatory, the immaculate conception of Mary, praying for the intercession of saints and archangels, etc.
I get where you're coming from - Catholicism has a very shiny veneer of legitimacy, being so high church and all. And I do appreciate a more orderly and structured form of worship (because "dancing" in church makes Se inferior uncomfortable) but, if you just did a good-faith reading of the Bible, you'd realise that you cannot seriously believe that Catholicism is a legitimate Christian denomination. There are simply too many Catholic practices that cannot be backed up with chapter-and-verse citations, at least not without misinterpreting and distorting a given verse beyond belief.
Your salvation is what's at stake so I strongly encourage you to do this hard work (the critical thinking, as Chase says) and research whether or not Catholicism is legitimate for yourself.

I am an ISFP. I def have the 'seeing is believing' mindset. However as I've gotten older with regards to spirituality I've started to think like: 'where is the concrete proof there is NO god/afterlife?' And there isn't any as far as I can tell. The world is strange enough - it's kinda unbelievable we're all here in the first place so would it really be that unbelievable if there was something else out there? I have also started to think God/afterlife etc could be something physically real as opposed to an abstract concept. E.g. If parallel universes exist, maybe 'the afterlife' could be a parallel universe where we live our life again or live a slightly different life etc. So it would be a real place in terms of physics. Part of the reason I think these things is because I now want to believe there's more. Is it normal for an ISFP to think this way? (it kind of drains me to think and talk about this stuff tho)

In Islam there are different schools of thought.
Some ahl al hadith (salafi) recommend reading from the sources yourself and making logical conlusions off them and the knowledge is evidence based (Ti/templar oriented).
Sufis on the opposite say that ones thought comes before revelation, but their thoughts are very philosophical (philosopher types mostly) and not original but derived from greek philosophy that they also revived and that was picked up by the church into their theology (thats why sufis are besties with the church).
There are many who delve deep inte jurisprudence which are often the so called ”crusader types” or Si types.
And obviously the ”wayfarer” types would be the ones who like to conquer, they are also ”heart temple” with their passion which can attract the youth.
Personally I favour the way that I mentioned first, since the information (Te) found in regular mosques is sparse and unreliable, but I also think reading and understanding by yourself (making up your own interpretations) can be taken too far like protestants do. Both Ti and Te is needed but I think Ti truth should always come first.
I was religous at adolecence but later I had to rediscover the religion and had to forget all the unreliable info I got while growing up and strictly compartmentalize the informantion that was true with proof and what was an opinion (even if it was the opinion of an esteemed person).
The meaning of the word religion is basically ”order”, so rejecting organized religion is almost like rejecting all religion that isnt nihilistic or chaotic/anarcistic. Examples of that would be many of the occult and/or nihilistic religions like discordianism the ones that CSJ distanced himself from like Alister Crowley/satanism, or its cousin Discordianism. I think most people use the term ”organised religion” to refer to the major religions, but I tried to research that term and where it originates from and what it actually means, and that was my conclusion.
But I dont agree with that if you believe in a major religion (like Islam) that one is automatically a blind follower, since if people use their intellects to find the truth then many will come to the same conclusion and that forms a religious community.
Te trickster does have a hard time fitting in any social situation (including congregations), but it can also work the other way around, to stick ones own convictions even when society tells you to not be religious.
I highly recommend reading Ibn Taymiyah and getting to know his line of thinking, one of the greatest of all time in these regards.

For example, frank in catch me if you can. I guess in spiritual realm, it is like depending on where they shift their energy into the existence, no matter if it’s daily life(God’s creation anyways from some of them says) or metaphysical realm.

As an intj 23 y/o I believe that, we don't know God. Because the truthfulness of the relegion is questionable, i believe the truth is scattered in all religions and as a result we trying to see or find god is a narrow perspective, we find bits and pieces of him in some part of the area. But to realise him is to accept all as one and hence one is all. I think God is something we experience within ourselves when we learn to be one with ourselves... There's a quote by da Vinci.. there are three types of people, those who see, those who see when they are shown and those who do not see. And i assume he is talking about intuition here.. and majority are sensors we knew this in some shape or form all along in all the religions, but what about those who are not abstract, they needed the statues, they needed a form a structure to believe it's real. Or else there will be no system to conform upon and there will be no hierarchy, and certain people will not have power, why do you think people preach? Because they're selling! Why do you need somebody else to realise there's something superior in the universe other than yourself? Because it controls the chaos and gives the being a structure? If you draw a circle how do you know it's a circle? Because of the the center point. Like wise I believe the only purpose of religion is to show direction in a particular manner or a lifestyle towards the divine. I firmly believe God is energy. Idk much but I have realised that much in my 23 years of life. I haven't told a lot of others things because I want to keep it short.

I think psychology explains it quite well. Young children in early childhood do not have much critical thinking abilities to question if what surrounding people are telling them about complex things like ideologies or religion and they just assume that those things are facts. Then when in teenage life, when people start to develop their ability to question things and those concepts are not challenged intelectually, they start to become one's identity. And then it's really difficult to change your mind even if one is proven wrong he would rather cope, rationalize or do not even participate in discussions about that, just because it can hurt their ego and due to the fact, that people tend to be mentally lazy. And because religion is for most people the default state in childhood, people start with the "burden" of belief in god and do mental gymnastics to justify it, as it should be the other way around - firstly you analize evidence, then you form a belief based on it.

Regardless of our "type", we can only turn to God when we are called.
The Lord God, being outside of the limitations of time and space, before the very foundation of the world, knew who would receive him, and who would not. He then put those names in the Book of Life.
If our names are Not in the Book of Life, there is No way that we can receive God.
Look at Cain. God spoke to him, lip to ear, and he rejected the Lord.
If your name is in that Book, then the Seed of God is in you, and when you hear the Revealed Word of God, that seed will spring to life in you.
The life in the seed is the Spirit in the Word.
The seed of God is Logos.
The life of the Logos is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the literal life of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is Logos, the Word of God made flesh.

I live in one of the most religious countries in the World. Being a part of catholic church is the default for almost entire population of the country. Recently it started to change though. What I can tell, that the religion has almost nothing to do with spirituality and divinity. It's rather a part of the culture, source of morality and the art of turning individuals into mindless herd with a sense of guilt. Through the history it used to be a military and political organization. It also used to had a monopoly on knowledge. Nowadays it’s an organization mostly of cultural, morality, political and financial importance and spirituality is substituted with empty rituals. Jesus is just a figure used by the church in their own twisted way. Even if he emerge into the world right now, he would be instantly considerate as a traitor to the church. Trying dive deeper into Christianity or other religions didn't bring a fruition. In contrary, the deeper I go the more I can see how religions emerged and evolved through the history, how sacred texts used to be selected (canonized) to fit the doctrine, how military and politics used to be the most important parts (yes, even Tibetan Buddhism was integrated into the government and Dalai Lamas were involved into governing army). I reject all religions as the source of the truth. I'm not part of any of them. But I'm not an atheist, I considerate myself as agnostic. I don't believe any particular god, deity or other transcendent being, they are just cultural representations (cult images) of religious concepts. But as long as we cannot prove or debunk the existence of the god, gods, the source of everything, or whatever would it be, I put them into a "probable" category. Maybe in a future we will be able to find the truth, now it's only based on believes and specific interpretations of facts or stories. INTJ

Let's say God doesnt exist. Then how did the universe come to exist? Based on the fact that everything in the universe is moving outward from a point, we can safely assume it all had to start at that point at some time or another. So what caused this to happen? What caused the big bang?
A common answer is, 'It came from another universe', in which case this spawns the obvious question, 'where dis THAT universe come from?'. From here, you can take it in 2 different routes. The first being, it came from another universe which come from another, etc, etc. But at some point, you will have to reach a first cause, or 'God' universe which everything comes from, that's essentially goes back, an infinite number of time. The point here is, if you can believe in that, then what's the problem with believing in a God that has always existed? Its basically the same.
The second option, is to say that whatever universe spawned this one into existence, must have always just existed. But logically speaking, that's not possible, because it would go against the law that 'energy/matter cannot be created or destroyed'. How so? Well if it existed forever, yet enough matter and energy where able to escape from it in order to create another whole universe, well then this could have happen an infinite amount of times within the infinite time that the starting universe has existed. At some point it would have run out of matter and would no longer be infinite. If that's the case, then how could it always have existed? The only way this is possible is if the laws of this starting 'God' universe were able to defy our own universal laws. Maybe this universe is truly infinite in quantity of matter/energy and space within it rather than time. Or maybe its infinite in both. Either way, according to our current understanding this shouldnt make sense since matter and energy not being created or destroyed implies a fixed universal amount of matter/energy. So this universe would have to be beyond the law our current universe follows.
Which, again, if you can believe in that, then what's the problem in believing in an infinite God that's beyond the confines of our universe? Its basically the same general concept.
There are some other options, but my point is an eternal infinite God is not as far fetched as atheists think.
