- TCGPlayer for Elestrals just launched!! With this incredible resource available to the community, Swolelax took it upon himself at 1pm in the afternoon to see how expensive it would be to build 3 full power decks in Elestrals! Today building Thunder Nexus, Fire Argo, and Penterror, Swole is able to beat the bank and not break it with a shocking comparison to Elestrals contemporary, Yu-Gi-Oh!

Something nice is being able to just grab a starter and get alot of what you need
The Chronodile and Phostumoose SDs are awesome for this. Multiple staples on top of being functional decks is great
2:49 If a card is out of stock, I think it is only fair if you price it at double the market price.
Ye how about we don’t make this community look like a “haha we killed Yugioh and we laugh at it and its fans”
I agree, I'm all for competition but this isn't the 90s anymore, we're all pass this whole "Elestrials does what Yu-Gi-Don't" mentality going on with these content creators
Bro, the game Is Better, but it's too early for this. Keep calm 😅
Never
@@datwriterhelen helen did you get your stellar PTA yet? KEK
Hey are you my first round match-up at locals? Hell yeah
I play Elestrals for my 60 card constructed fix. I love MTG but anything above Pauper is crazy expensive.
I have so much BULK staples coming soon
Bruh this is the first thing i try to explain to players wanting to get into the game 😂. That and the digital client lets you use EVERY card for free.
I have yet to buy any singles online. I'm one of those who prefer seeing the individual cards in person before purchasing. As for the prices, I would say give it a month before things really settle down. There are a few people who have plenty of bulk but choose not to sell online. Daybreak prices may tank some come March once the KS shipments get to the backers' hands.
$100 is definitely steep at the moment just due to stock. In a few months it won't be expensive at all honestly.
I do wish they would reprint PTA SHIELD GG in a main set as a common or something. They do it for elestrals when they get a new ascension. Restricting them to starters sells them for sure, but I wish the starters had playsets.
Is there an elestral simulator app/site that lets you use every card for free and lets you duel against other players?
Horrible way to promote a game is to throw shade at the competition.
Shameful display, you truly are doing elestrals a de-service
"Disservice" is a word in the English language. Someone already came up with that word just for you.
yeah yugioh just sucks i played it for 14 years never could play it competitively bc it was just so so expensive and not worth the money to build only otk and ftk decks.
You sure about that mate? Accessible ≠ more popular/fun. How does an Elestral end board compare to a YGO end board and how fun are they to solitaire combo lines in comparison. PS: I'm not saying the game sucks; I do hope to try it out
Well in Elestrals you don't automatically lose if you go second so that's a point in its favor
It definitely has not lol
OH NO GUYS YUGIOH IS DEAD
IT ONLY HAS 30000 CONCURRENT MASTER DUEL PLAYERS
ITS SO OVER
high amounts of cope. im all for shitting on yugioh but come on. outside of the same content creators playing this game, where the scene at?🤔
It’s continuously building, more stores are carrying the game as both a product and a tournament scene which is easy enough to find through the Play Network hosting constant events, not to mention the online client is opening beta next month. Of course, this is also taking into consideration that the game officially launched just this year, so having the growth it’s already had without a major IP to back it up isn’t bad at all. It’s obviously not taking a slot in the Big 4 of card games yet, not even close, but it’s definitely an appealing alternative to Yugioh at this moment even just from a pricing standpoint while having similar enough gameplay to not feel alien.
there's a lot of other creators making content, but the algorithm doesnt push them and the community hasn't found them, not just all the yugi-lestrals people.
Exactly. Yugioh is fair game for all of the criticism that it gets, but a lot of Elestrals fans have this weird antagonistic attitude to the game and honestly a lot of their attitudes don't look very healthy.
There's a fine line between being critical and being petty.
@@lost_pantheon its a great game but you cant build a good community out of spite alone. kinda like how swu is buidling up to be aswell
@@lost_pantheon That's because a not so small chunk of the audience is people burnt out on Yugioh.
The game seems fun but I don't like the art at all so I'll stick with Yugioh.
lol. cheap won't make or break a new TCG. YGO is loosing steam but not because of indie competition....but because Wealth..fame..Power....Elestials is not a threat at the moment, be patient and maybe...but the ceiling will hit very hard, too close to Pokemon in design and too closed to YGO in gameplay...and nobody will care collecting it, at the moment at least...
