The Bronte village of Haworth is pronounced "How Earth", not "Hay Worth".
You’ll have to forgive him! He’s an Aussie! lol!
If I found myself in a time slip I would definitely try and stay there!
Me too. I often wish I could be transported there and not come back.
Thanks for these amazing and chilling stories, Weird World..💖
A sudden, deathly silence is a common feature of these stories.
I've noticed that too. I've always heard that when you noticed a lack of noise in any sort, that's a bad sign
I wish I could get a deathly silence from my misses but that ain't gonna happen 😊
That's known as The Oz Effect.
@@garymcewan5876tell me you’re a beyond creepy fan without telling me you’re a beyond creepy fan
I love this channel. I love also that they allow viewer submitted stories as well! 💜💜💙💙
I wish things like that would happen to me.. I'd love to be transported back in time.. And I'd stay there 😊
Me too!👍
Me three!
Wishful thinking...Truth is, you wouldn't be able to cope.
Trees and vegetation do not need oxygen to grow; they give off oxygen to grow. They need CO2
They do actually need oxygen too.
The sad thing is, these sorts of primeval forests were common across North America until relatively recently. So it wasn't necessarily a glimpse into prehistory; perhaps just a few years back.
Is it time travel, or dimensional shift where things are similar, but not identical to the current time line? Could it be both?
I'm sure you've told the 3 cadets story before. 🤔
Yes! I remember it! It’s a repeat!
Wonderful, thank you.
It's always interesting and intriguing how and why accidental time travel happens. I always enjoy hearing encounters like these. it seems the people that have had these experiences always travel back, instead of forward in time.
Love these stories
Your stories always seem to come from the UK 😂👍
What a puzzling experience. I wonder if they had been transported to the time of the Black Death or similar plague? That might explain the emptiness with no sign of life and old ox meat. But the decoy-like ducks are especially strange; I haven't the foggiest notion about that.
Why are the ducks so strange?
It's not insane to think that a medieval village might have hunted for ducks.
Decoys have been used since the beginning of hunting.
@@CordellPotts Ha! Good point! Medieval decoys.😊
Unlikely to be medieval as meat was precious and would not hang about to be covered in cobwebs, also the shops had shutters in those days not glass windows.
@@Flibbles What era might be a better match? When did meat become more available? 19th century? But then why would the ox meat be bad?
@@michaelearendil6843 Unsalted meat exposed to the air would take on a shimmery sort of greenish hue (there is a technical name for it, but it escapes me at the mo). This did not mean it was bad to eat (sniff test essential). Most people in the countryside would have a pig and some chickens for meat and eggs, beef required more land so bigger farmers had small herds of beef for selling at smithfeild market and the local butchers. Oxen were beasts of burden, used to pull the plough and the oxcarts and unlike horses you would then be able eat the ox at the end of it's service.
This is crazy
The first story was extensively researched thanks to Britain’s longstanding habit of keeping careful records of literally everything. The butcher shop still exists and today in a historic inn (it was a butcher shop centuries ago). Researchers were able to pinpoint the exact time period the soldiers encountered and it would have been so desolate due to Black Death having completely ravaged the village.
I LOVE the house pictured in the Alan Helm story! 😊 (Can't find Alec but Alan Helm, actor, was born on the same date.)
Time is only linear in the context of us living our lives from birth to death. In the greater scheme of things time as we know it doesn’t exist. I suspect these experiences happen when someone manages to walk through a wormhole.
Yes. People tend to think of wormholes existing out in space but they are theoretically possible anywhere, as are black holes.
Inner time is what we experience, illusion reality. outer time is base reality.
I experienced a time slip in early 90s and would have laughed in disbelief before hand if anyone had told me it was possible. Also my job at the time prevented telling anyone except only those close to me for fear of being labeled nuts . This world is not what it seems.
Well, what happened during your time slip?! I’d love to know
Very intetesting accounts.
Omg this picture on the episode looks like Dennis Quaid if he was in high school.
All of these stories are true. I was there when they happened.
Yeah I know and I saw you there too.!
I love these accounts of time slips and it’s a weird world after all!
The video thumbnail grapbic looks like the new spock from star trek, a.k.a sylar from heroes lol
Hi levels of Co2 make plants grow large not Oxygen
THAT TRIPPLE H FROM WWE DAD
Sounds like the kinda stories you get from the bottom of a to many beer bottles😂 Best B.S. On the toobs of U 😂
Look like drake
Would higher levels of oxygen cause plants to grow bigger? I thought it would more likely be higher levels of CO2 that would do that.
I liked it better before you used AI for visuals
I’m looking forward to a modern day person being transported back in time. I do hope that this person will have the presence of mind to take out their cell phone and shoot some still pictures or video of their strange surroundings.
Cell phones don't work without the towers.
@@kellysouter4381the cameras do, provided of course that the battery isn’t dead due to electrical interference. I would just try to pocket an artifact
