- Decided to do a BTS MARATHON! Up first: I Need You! Let the Theories Begin! We're going to do Prologue right after this and then finally Run!! After that we're going to watch the 2015 MAMA BTS Performance :D

I've had my experience in an abusive relationship. The worst part of it is, in the beginning they are probably the most charming and genuine guys you've ever met and they make you fall for them HARD. Then once you begin dating, they slowly begin to show their true nature. Thankfully I got out before he ever physically abused me, but the mental abuse was so horrible I needed therapy and now have to take medication for depression and anxiety. And when people tell those in abusive relationship to leave, trust me when I say they KNOW, but theres that part in you that remembers how they used to be and if it's verbal abuse, you think it's because of you its this way, and its often that way as well with physical abuse. "You made me do it" "If you weren't so ____ i wouldn't have to do this" "You're the reason I'm not like this anymore" "If you leave me, no one else would ever want you." "You're lucky I put up with you, no one could ever love you." It's a really serious problem and it is SO hard to get out of, and many people who try are actually killed because of it. One of my friends was murdered by her abusive boyfriend because she finally called the cops on him. He was only detained for 48 hours and then let back. She didn't leave their shared apartment so he went back there, found her and shot her dead. Abusive relationship are probably one of the hardest and scariest things you can be put through and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I think you missed out a little one the plot in the MV.... but nobody gets that anyway.
Jin (The one with flowers) nobody know what he is
RapMon (at the gass station) - probably blew himself up, you know, cigarett and gas......
Suga (in the hotel) - set himself on fire
Jungkook - got beat up
V - killed that man, probably his abusive father
J-hope - Overdosed
Jimin - probably drowned himself in the bathtub
But people still don't get the plot.... like, WHY?
The white flowers stands for death by the way. That's why I believe that Jin was already dead in I Need U but all of these theories makes my head hurt XX

I loved your comments guys. It's precisely at this point that BTS wanted to touch, talk about mental health, abusive relationship, social differences, even risking their careers, and they managed to touch many young people around the four corners of the planet, thank God , bringing light to these young people who felt lost, not just young people but people of different age groups, different ethnicities, religions (yes, I say that because I think BTS was the first Boyband to play a show in Saudi Arabia), anyway, a super band with polite, humble, respectful, hardworking guys!
That's what I thought too when I first saw the video. I thought well that is clear what happens there.
And then I saw the prologue! You know...the one with the clip in the end...after the ending credits... Aaand it messed me up!
Had to watch I Need You video again. Not that I mind or anything.
I think this video has two sides. One is for everybody. You see what is clear.
The other one is for fans who know all of their names and pretty much everything about the band. The teasers and photobooks...
The fans go deep. And that's where the real magic/tragic story lies.
There are sooo many theories out there that it's crazy. I've pretty much read them all. Some of them really make sense.

After the prologue I thought... okay, that makes sense. And then I saw Run video and everything was a mess again.
Oh and good luck with Run! That was once again the theory changer for me 😂

V killed his character's father in the MV, to save his siblings/mother. He was a part of the people who got abused. Just fyi^^

and actually..even tho the song say 'i need u girl' the music video not really for the song but since they have almost the same meaning, that's why they make 'i need u' as the title song. it's actually about youth and all the happy and sad moment in your life, i'm sure you guys already know about this. hahaha
I heard a theory that in Dope all of their jobs mean something. Like how Jungkook was bullied so he became the police officer, JHope died in the street so he became a racer, V was involved in a crime (killing the man who was an alcoholic and abused the girl) so he became a detective, and Jin became a doctor because he was the only one who didn't die throughout the course of I Need U & the Prologue and he wanted to save his friends. I've also heard that instead of six members dying only Jin died and all the others lived....it's really confusing *sighs* (._.) Can't wait for the next video! Hwaiting!!

Since the album is called "The most beautiful moment",they asking us to find our own beautiful moment in life.We may experience failure but that doesn't mean we can't get happiness in the future.Like they said,doing what they wanted now (writing/composing songs,meeting fans,concert) is actually theier beutiful moment

Honestly your theory of them just being messed up but helping each other is way better than the theory about them being dead and all.. The theme for the album is youth and making music videos about some of them being actually dead makes no sense to me if they are trying to communicate the struggles of youth. People read way too much into these music videos. Whether the prologue and RUN were made to evolve this whole thing into some kind of net of theories and shit i dont know, but i don't think that was intended from the get-go.
There has been some good theories about all the videos but i dont think it has anything to do with dead or not dead. Just that they grow up and are therefore "gone" in a sense in the view of the younger members. If the theme for the albums were youth then growing up and becoming an adult is also part of it and it would make sense to make that a part of the music videos. Since Jin is the oldest and missing in photos etc he is obvioulsy the first one to grow up and go to "the other side".

Info on the song that I know: Namjoon (the leader) was gonna put I need you friends or Bts but I’m he wanted to fit perfectly so he put girl in.jk got beat up(by the one of the producers son for the MV) bc jk ran into the man so the man beat him up after jk got hit by a car..J-hope overdosed on a bridge-V saw his father beating his sister or mother(forgot which one sorry..) so he hits him with a glass bottle the starts to stab him with it.-Rm is sad bc he is being mistreated and he feels lonley.- (and the lollipop was actually a cigg)-suga either but fed himself alive or Smothered himself with the smoke-jimin was trying to drowned himsels and eventually did in soap water(soap helps air stay out of water while the bubbles give air to make it slow and painful-Jin was the guy with the flowers(the next sentence is what I heard I do not know fully yet…)jin is a guy who has flowers with seven peddles and every time one of the other six members pass(in MV) A flower peddle falls off letting him know another went away.-and like the clips of them being together happy means they are happy when together and sad when alone(which is time when you have to think ..) also this MV shows all the bad things in life that could possibly happen(to singers or famous ppl or just regular citizens) hope this helps(this comment was put on. This comment area but I deleted it and forgot to put it back so here I am five years later recommending this sorry for being five years late)

They guy V killed was his Father, it was his father who was abusing his mom. You get to see that in the start of the prologue where V holds a picture of his father and himself with blood on his cloth.

these three videos it's overwhelming , i' mean the fist one you think you have , then second you have it , then when you get to the third one you loose it

What I've seen anyway is it's ment to be Jin that's died (the guy with the flowers) that's why he's in white and crying he's dead he can't be with his friends . The members react to his death in their own way for example jhope overdoses . The 6 flowers represent the other members and Jin holds them dear to his heart even in death when v kills his abusive father it's because he's bottled up his feeling for so long . All the scenes where everybody is happy and having fun are just memories. Jin apparently drowned in his car this links into other scenes for example in the prologue where they golf the car into the water. The Polaroid where there is only Jin in the photo when they're was actually someone else with him shows that he has left the other members behind. What I'm trying to say is that their best friend has died and they're taking it pretty badly. ( this is just theories I've read)
The happy moments with his mates, they're memories, happy memories before each boy /slowly/ kills themselves, right?

Everyone keeps getting confused by the sudden change of atmosphere throughout the video from happy to sad like they notice that when they’re all together they’re happy and when they’re alone they’re sad. I think it’s pretty self-explanatory.

I think ppl should interpret it freely. For me in this story everyone represented some dark side of life, t.e V represetns anger for me, J-hope-depression, Jimmin-loneliness....and Jin somebody who is lost...I like to tie it up with Wings...and if I do that then FOR ME these are the story of Jin for the 1st time seeing the dark side of life(after only having fun ), while here he struggles whether to stay or leave the "realm of darkness" in wings he chooses to stay and gets corrupted.
This was in my recommendation now haha

On my opinion this is the best theory of all and explained "I Need U", the Prologue and "Run" but is in Spanish and I'm very lazy for translate. So if you really want can try to read it.

Okay, so from what I know, the guy V kills is his abusive father, in an attempt to protect his mother. This becomes more apparent in the prologue. Also, I'm pretty sure Rapmon's lollipop is meant to represent a cigarette, so his problem is an addiction to nicotine.
