Shalom Charles, I found this lesson very important for worship leaders, in that as you have rightly expressed, reverence is important when we are leading worship, emphasizing power when and where it is needed and silence can also bring empowerment when applied appropriately to worship songs, I just loved this video, awesome. many great lessons here to be learnt. Cheers Will
Vegan purse today brother! The work you were doing here is anointed of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for taking time to break down the communicative ideas of playing worship guitar.
This was great! I have always played with the “feel” of the song but have never thought of playing to what the words are conveying. More to work on…. Thanks!
Thanks for providing a framework on how to arrange the guitar parts that make it more intentional. Some of this stuff I did on intuition but you provided a process when intuition fails. Excellent stuff.

When you have a good understanding of where the chord tones are, it helps a lot. Then you can combine that with the major scale to make the melody of a bit away from the chord tones to create tension and release. Let me know if that helps?
I have looked for things like these for a very long time. This is super. Let's subscribe, learn and support our Christian brother.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support!

Thanks for this comment @williamsteel4694
I appreciate the background explanation along with the demo. The understanding of “why” is as important as the “how to”.

Where do you find the notes for the melody?
