The intro to this property showcase is perfect, Kory. Showing the POV of driving up to the property for the first time as prospective buyer is great

Great advice for looking at rural property. This is some good info for people who might not be thinking of all those daily needs.

These places use to be like $100,000 dollars. Then population took over and now they are all overpriced.

@@timothydare6007Overproced? Ever watch the show, “Million Dollar Listing”? The numbers on those homes are astronomical. And some of those are in CALIFORNIA! One of the most temperate and somewhat beautiful areas, yet one of the worst political environments EVER! There will be market corrections. But until then, as long as there are buyers…

Stop it, Corey!! We are all full in Athol!! Surely that is the last available property in the area. Great points to think about when buying.

North idaho has turned into a rich man's playground only. Everything is way over priced. Traffic is terrible now. Schools are over crowed and police now are there daily. Winters are nasty. Crime up, drugs up and trafficking is up. Everyone I know is selling and moving out.

I'm a nanny/professional babysitter. I have a family in Careywood/Athol off a dirt road. If she books me a few times clustered together and bird craps on my car I be like nope, I'll go to the car wash when I finish the last cluster. She has a car wash pass (though pretty pointless....)
The kids and I saw a red tailed hawk one of the times I was working up there.

Soooo true! Those who live on dirt roads be like....I'll wait for the rain to wash my car!

Living on a rural property in the woods, I had to drive to town to upload these videos, just six years ago. Starlink solved that problem. Additionally, in those six years since, weather has yet to impact our Starlink internet.

@@LiveBetterinNorthIdaho I'm very data heavy, both uploads and downloads. I'm not sure even star link would be good enough. It's going to be a few years before I'm ready to make the move in any case. Ill certainly look into star link in the meantime.
