@@kjam1389 your editing is way too good you’re setting yourself up to be a fighting game mega celebrity. That guy who posts insanely high quality edits of fighting games
Hey, im thinking about getting into strive but im a little scared that i wont be able to make a lot of progress or i wont be very good at it, do you have any advice
The worst part of picking up a fighting game is the knowledge checks imo. You'll encounter some things that are frustrating or appear to be unfair, but there's almost always a solution. My best advice is to find a community that you can ask questions. Since I've picked up Potemkin a couple of months ago, the Potemkin Discord has been invaluable to finding counterplay to different characters or better strategies for situations I struggle with (there's even a match review channel where you get advice on vods). Don't worry about 'getting good' early on, the game will put you in a tower floor with people of similar skill. Once you've found a main and gotten some hours under your belt to understand the game, you can figure out where to improve. Best of luck!
